Haven't posted in a while, but I got in to PDX! Whoever I was with in the interview session, you all did so well, and I'm excited that I'll get to work with such impressive & inspiring to-be nurses. Wahoo! Good luck to everyone, and keep trying!

The ABSN-FNP applicants probably get contacted for interviews before the ABSN?

Well while we're waiting, let's hear everyone's GPAs, backgrounds, work you do now or hope to do after? What made you all wanna get into nursing?

Thought I replied to this already! Sorry if this is a repeat. After finishing the application I called the admissions and talked to them then (so early Jan). From what I remember they said the end of January is when I'd get an invitation. But again someone (maybe me) might have misunderstood something...

I was told the end of this month is when we would get invitations to interview. But I can't be 100% sure, maybe I misheard or maybe they thought I was applying to a different program. Given past years it seems like we'll get an invitation in february...though it's frustrating that it seems they don't tell folks they haven't gotten in until much much later.

Thanks! That's what previous year threads seemed to suggest, but I'm startled because when I called the school after turning in the application, they said something about the end of this month... I'm so nervous!!
