I think I may have recognized your last name on the list for schedule #1? If I'm right looks like we may have class together. I chose a Monday clinical so I could do Mon-wed and be able to use Thursday -Sunday for work and studying.

I got the 2:05 slot. Check your "other" inbox if you haven't that's where my email went instead of the "focused" inbox... really hoping it's first come first serve... I really want option #1 and either a Monday or Thursday clinical so I can have my classss all done by 3 at the latest and do them 3 days in a row.

Oh I hope Boyce is different as someone said we received a orange packet that had example of class schedule and clinical times and they were numbered. So I'm hoping that we get to pick.. if not let the odds be in my favor.. lol I really just want 3 straight days.

Did you get to pick from a list of schedules? Or was it a lottery?

Awesome! I'm really hoping to get my schedule to be Monday(clinical), Tuesday, Wednesday or Tuesday Wednesday, Thursday (clinical)... we don't register until November 12th I'm going to Boyce!

I got my shot yesterday and did just as you said thank you! ... I just hope I uploaded the right thing lol they need to hurry up and approve it!

I called the nursing Office they said the packets were only just mailed 2 days ago for Boyce campus... so hopefully this weekend! Guessing our due dates are different.

Of course... hopefully they're flexible on these dates... still nothing in the mail today..

So you don't NEED to take A&P 1 prior to applying/admission (unless you're doing the fast track), BUT if you HAVE taken it you need at least a C. I'm sorry you didnt get in.. crush A&P next time and you'll get it!

Absolutely! The only actual pre reqs are the chemistry(can be from high school if there's a lab), bio, and any remedial math or English courses, meaning you have to be Elligible to take English 101 and Algebra 108. I was just accepted to Boyce spring 2019 and I'm In A&P 1 this semester and there are people in their first semester of the nursing program just taking it now. One of my classmates who applied for Boyce day as first choice just called today because she hasnt received anything this is was she said "I called and was told all letters have not been sent out. That was as of 8:15am today."

Yes there will be a packet sent out with all of the steps that need to be completed. Like you said, vaccines, for cert. physicals, clearances things like that. A lot of it will have to be uploaded to this site which I heard was a pain. So happy to get stared though!

Ahhhhhhhhhh I have two CCAC letters at home so it's not just the deans list letter! Lol

It's crazy the anxiety it causes lol and this is supposed to be the easy part...

Just a heads up to those also still waiting... Deans list letters have been sent out as well so you may receive that before your letter. I don't want anyone getting their hopes up because of informed delievery.

I need ccac to get their stuff together lol I know someone who's hasn't been getting emails so I'll post the important update here just Incase. From the admission director All, I would like to provide you all with some updates. The letters began to go out last week. However, the process has moved a bit slower than normal due to some unforeseen circumstances. Our secretaries are working diligently to get everyone's letters out expediently. So I apologize for the longer than normal wait. Here are a few things to note: Timelines by Group: 1. Letters for the CCAC@CAL U program applicants and the LPN -RN Transition program applicants are set to be mailed tomorrow 9/28. So you will get your notifications over the weekend or Monday. 2. There are a number of Allegheny and Boyce applicant letters that have already gone out but there are many who were mailed yesterday and the rest will go out today. Acceptance paperwork: 3. I am extending the Confirmation and functional ability form deadline from September 28, 2018 to October 5, 2018. So please do not concern yourself with the date on the letter or the confirmation itself. I set these dates and I am telling you not to worry about it. Simply mail or fax your paperwork back to us as soon as you can if you are admitted to the program. We need both documents.
