  1. I got an interview with CCC! Email just came a few minutes ago!
  2. Not yet. Since pre-interview points won’t be final until 5pm tonight I think it’s safe to assume that sometime after 5 today would be the very earliest anyone would hear anything.
  3. Mine was also shown on the Nursing Worksheet that Allied Health sent with my point total. It showed a Max next to my points.
  4. Thanks for making the thread, I’ve been checking frequently to see if there was any created! I got 49/54, I just missed the previous degree, stem high school, and military service points. CCC is my first choice since I’ve been going there and it’s close to home. I took a gamble and only applied to CCC and OHSU. I didn’t get an interview invite for OHSU, so CCC will be my only chance for this year.
  5. I'm 31, and have been a stay at home mom for the past 10 years, I never went to college after highschool. I enrolled at Clackamas Community college last week and am preparing for my placement test, brushing up on math that I haven't used in 15 years. I have hopes and dreams of becoming an RN and working in a local hospital someday, but I worry after hearing how competitive nursing school is. After taking all of my prerequisites, what advice/information can you give me for ensuring I can get into the nursing school program at CCC? The advisor told me the outline of Year 1 prerequisites, Year 2 and 3 at CCC nursing school on Harmony, Year 4 at OHSU, then Bachelor's degree! Sounds pretty straight forward when it's put that way, but I keep seeing words like "wait lists" and "acceptance" and "applying to multiple schools", and I'm really worried that I'll take all of my prerequisite classes, and then be hung out to dry and not actually get into a nursing program. Has anyone here completed the nursing program at CCC and help explain to me if there are any hoops to jump through, or things I should do in addition to trying to ace my prerequisite classes?
