  1. It says it in their policy. 2.8 is the minimum you need in each class
  2. Sorry to say but you will need to get 2.8 in each pre req in order to be able to apply:/ sorry!
  3. Everyvclass of the pre req are required to be 2.8 or higher so you won't be able to apply until that score is replaced
  4. OU's program requires every pre tea to be at least 2.8 so you will have to retake it
  5. I didn't have a 2.0 in chem and I found mine out after a couple months
  6. I'm in the BSN program at OU right now. For ABSN, as long as you have 3.6 you should be all set. for Traditional BSN, you're looking at 3.8 for admission
  7. I am in OU's BSN program right now, OU has an odd grading scale once you're in the nursing program. Pre nursing, it is possible with the professors (they changed the profs after I got into the program) and now the grading scale has been inflated. BUT once in the nursing program the only way to get a 4.0 is to get 100% in the class which is impossible. 99% becomes automatic 3.9. Good luck!
  8. So what days would you say i should work? I planned on working tues night after class (nap for 1.5 hour) then Friday night (nap after clinical, my clinical is 10 min away so i'll be home by 4). then switch the schedule back to normal schedule on sunday
  9. Forgot to mention, they said they are willing to work with my school schedule. I will be the only Nurse Tech on the floor per shift. They even mentioned that Nurse techs are expensive to train and they have to make sure they picked the right person (to basically hire them once they graduate). Do you think Friday night is doable even though it's after my clinical?
  10. That is also what I've been hearing, please keep me updated! I've been hearing that CVICU is a great unit but can be filled with novice nurses. I am glad that I get to be on a unit with full of experienced nurses that will train me to possibly hire me to that unit once I graduate!
  11. Hi guys, I've recently been hired as a Nurse Tech at a large 1100 bed hospital into a Neuro-Trauma SICU. It will be part time nights and I am enrolled in a BSN program as a full time student. My schedule for a normal week is : M- class T- class W- empty Th- clinical F- clinical S- empty Su- church My question to those of you who are working nights, what nights should I work? Any tips on making my schedule very tight and well balanced? PS:I am used to working day shifts (once a week shift) and that I love to sleep lol Thanks!
  12. They called me today! will be starting very soon on that uni! thank you.
  13. I have an interview coming up on the unit you used to work as a tech. If you could add me back, I'd love to ask a few questions. Thank you!
  14. I hope they offer me the job! I could use some more challenge than where I am currently!
