  1. NO it's not an automatic A.. they calculate the grade you got they use your transcript.
  2. Can give me a list of classes you took and the grades and your teas score. I will calculate your points for you.
  3. Yes. Nursing you get an email first, however if you applied thru admissions they change your status first...don't worry before May 18. Your status will change in order for registration and you have an email and hard copy letter that's all that matters. Congratulations guys!! NCC Nursing has two ways of working sorry, no team work in this process. As you are seeing with applications...the evening and day program is different too. Lots of people finds the day program is much easier and more resources is put into it. Where as the nights your choice is limited. So many people switch from nights to days. It's the little things I have learnt in the program.
  4. Has anyone who applied thru "admissions" received their letter in the mail yet?
  5. I am however few of my friends are coming inwith you guys.
  6. Yeah. Both a&p and micro are the core of nursing. You will definitely get thru next time you apply providing you get those classes out of the way.. good luck. You got this.
  7. What's your points? And what section did you applied for day or evening?
  8. Admissions only sent out the letters. So you wouldn't get an email. That letter will be the same as the email others got. It will tell you date and time for registration/ advisement/ interview. Dress business casual or business.
  9. Registration day you will find out..
  10. That's true. I knew someone who got in like that is a nurse now.
  11. Nancy, is a start. They want you to show them why you want to be a nurse.
  12. Guys, you will get in next time. Remember most people who got in ...finish all their pre-nursing classes. Don't give up. You guys will be great nurses. Thanks for letting us know about the denial letter. I wasn't aware they do that.
  13. They will sent you a letter...only to those who are accepted..
  14. Congratulations...are you nights or days?
  15. Today should be the day for email admissions
  16. My friend has 160 and she didn't get an email yet..so guys don't stress. It's who they get to first. As for cut off points I don't know yet. My contact doesn't know that information as yet.
  17. I think admissions has a delay..those who got in can share your points total?
  18. Friday you guys should get an email in the afternoon, because they do that first before they mail the "letters" . Monday they will mail the decisions out, remember only if you are accepted you get an email followed by a letter.
  19. Just call them, you need to do that ASAP because you don't want them to make a decision without you having the chance to fix things. They are presently making decisions this week and next Friday emails will be going out. Some students can get an over phone informal decision now.
  20. It will hang in there . You got this!! one way to find out if you get in before the admission is email/letter. Is to check your transcript online at NCC portal, it will change your degree status to "nursing" It should be changed anytime between April 19-29.
  21. Sometimes you can get in with lows as of 108. In three weeks you will know their decision. Stay strong you will be an RN.
  22. It's 10 points. Congratulations. 151 points you are so in.
