Thanx for the response, sometimes you need to hear things from other people. You are right, the BON is the only answer that matters. I will take your advice.

Had some trouble back when I was about 18. Totally changed my life and have not been in trouble since. Live a honest life with a family and happily married now. Will my past be held against me? I am 32 will be 33 in a few months? How will the BON look at that? Thanx for your responses.

Just curious, I hear alot about misdemenors. What about someone who was a wild child so to speak and hung out with the wrong crowd during the teenage years, became tangled up with the law and ended up with a felony or maybe 2. Is their any consideration for those who grew up and changed their lives, Became a mother, wife and a firm believer in the Lord Jesus Christ? Is your history from 12 years ago play such a major role in if you can become a nurse today?

Ohio goes by a case by case bases. They have 11 automatic disqualifying crimes. And they are major EX: Murder, Rape etc. you have submit your information and they review it and make a decision. People are not perfect and LIFE happens. There are humans at the board to. That and keep your faith in GOD!

hello all, I am relocating to the Charlotte area in about six months. I just recently graduated a LPN program here in Dayton, Ohio. Does any one have any information on LPN to RN programs in Charlotte? any info about places that hire new grads? And just any info in general that may help me? thanx in advance for the responses.

There is Rets tech in Centerville, Ohio that offeres a 1&1 program for LPN then to RN. there is Also CTC in Trotwood, Ohio. And if I am not mistaken they have LPN classes at the VA.
