Greetings to All! First, let me begin by saying I am extremely impressed by the supportive comradery of this particular thread/group! Bravo! Lots of informative pearls of wisdom shared in regards to Post University/ASU's NP programs. Regarding my personal situation, I was accepted into Post University's PMHNP program, along with a few other schools. I'm currently in the process of narrowing down my top choices. Although I enjoy a "brick & mortar" classroom learning environment, similiar to what many of you have previously expressed, it is not very feasible with FT employment and life in general. Additionally, I've also completed a few graduate courses in the past with an online format/program, and found the experience not only challenging but also very convenient in relation to work/life balance. Presently, I am leaning towards Post University's PMHNP program and came across this particular group's thread. My decsion is based on positive student reviews, affordable tuition rate (payment plan options) for those paying out-of-pocket, 100% online format, and no required on-campus immersion learning experience. Anticipated start date would be May 2023. Any additional words of wisdom, information, pros & cons of the NP core curriculum/programs, or updated thoughts/progress regarding your individual experiences with Post University would be greatly appreciated! I am also thinking about doing the psych NP at Walden. Have you started the program and can you share any advice? Thanks !
