health screening for work? So, they will get access to all my medical records? You mean i could refuse health screening because the ADA protects me, but nobody will hire me than because of that. It's very hard to google the law. I tried, but I found nothing.

Hello, all! I badly want to be a nurse, but i have mental illness. Although I can manage it well( I work full time and study at the same time), after i read few topics on this site about nurses with bipolar disorder, i decided to take a pause. I live in state which doesn't care about your mental health(NY), but i've been told that it's hard to find a job here as new grad, and you need to move out of state for few years to get experience first(is it even true?). I know that with almost every other state you have to disclose your health issues. But, what will happen if i dont disclose it(I mean how do they get to know that)? Or what will happen if i disclose it? Even though, I got few information from other topics, in my opinion it wasn't really clear. And one more question, every school around me require physical exam before admission process, so do i need to disclose my health issues with the school on the exam or can i just tell them that everything is okay? Hello everyone, I am interesting in RT program, but i want to know how the job market for RT is in NYC, i checked a lot of jobs on indeed.com and every job required 1 or 2 years of experience, so it looks like it is very hard to find a job as a new grad. Am i right?

Fisrt of all i want to say sorry for my english. I am the student of the nursing school in Russia. I have a green card. So i have 2 options now. First is to finish my education here in Russia and get my BSN(it takes me 2 years more), or second to move in USA now whiout a degree. I want to live in NYC and i understand that i have to pass the NCLEX . I've started to check the nursing positions in New York City, and every position i saw on indeed.com or monster requires 2 - 3 years expiriance and a lot of this positions requires BSN from accreditated school(dont know if my school suits this because it has russian accreditation). So is it possible to get a job as a nurse with foreign degree and whiout experience? What do you think should i finish my school or forget about it and move to the USA now? Thank you.
