  1. Anyone interested in starting a FB group? What's everyone doing for housing? So much to get sorted before June!
  2. Accepted at Anshutz!! Congrats everyone!
  3. Not yet! CU tends to send their emails out late though so should have news in the next couple of hours.
  4. The traditional program actually only has one start date - June of each year. Perhaps you're thinking of the RN-BSN bridge program? That has both Fall and Spring start dates.
  5. So excited and nervous! I'm not expecting an email until Friday evening. Good luck everyone!
  6. How is everyone feeling after the interview process? I thought it was run very smoothly and wasn't as scary as I thought it was going to be. One month until decisions are out!
  7. Has anyone been accepted from the waitlist yet?
  8. Emails just went out! I was assigned the morning session so will be there bright and early at 7:30am. Anyone want to meet up during the breakfast welcome?
  9. That's what I thought but I haven't received anything yet. Would they still send them out this late in the day?
  10. Graduated in 2011 with a bachelors in Political Science.
  11. Omg same! The lady I spoke with obviously had incorrect information. Congrats to everyone who made it to the interview stage! There's a morning and afternoon session, but the email said to plan on arriving at 7:30am so I'm flying in the night before to be safe.
  12. I've now been told that decisions on interviews will be out by the end of next week (Dec 29th). Not sure in what world that qualifies as "mid-December", but there you have it. I went ahead and booked a refundable plane ticket just in case. I don't want to wait any longer as airfare is only going to get more expensive the closer we get.
  13. I spoke with someone in the advising office today and she said they were finalizing decisions and thinks they'll go out sometime next week. Not leaving a lot of room for people coming out of state to make travel arrangements.
  14. Does anyone know if we send our updated transcripts directly to OU, or still go through NursingCAS? Grades for this semester were just posted today and I want to send them over ASAP in case spots start opening up. I'm worried NursingCAS will take forever.
  15. I'm assuming we'll find out this week if we made it to the interviews. The email said decisions would be made by mid-December so fingers crossed!
  16. Just got the email saying I'm an alternate. As I suspected, they want to see the grades for my current outstanding prerequisites. I'm actually quite relieved as a large portion of last year's cohort were from the waitlist. Better than an outright rejection!
  17. Did someone from OU tell you this? Seems very strange that they would leave us hanging in limbo with no indication either way.
  18. First time applying here. I just finished physiology this semester and have micro in the spring, so I figured I would be waitlisted with two outstanding pre-reqs. It's just frustrating that they seem to be staggering the emails. How hard is it to send them all out at once?
  19. Nothing here yet either:( I wonder if they send all the acceptance emails out in one batch first, and then the denial/waitlist emails in a second batch.
  20. Really?? From OU or CAS? Was it a decision email?
  21. I wonder if this means they'll be pushing the orientation back as well? I believe it was in early-to-mid December last year.
  22. Still pending
  23. Yeah I'm thinking emails will go out next Friday.
  24. I turned in my application last month! Such a long wait to find out about the interview. I'm applying from out of state so I'm not sure I'll be able to go, even if I get accepted, due to the astronomical tuition for non-residents. I'm also thinking about applying to the Denver School of Nursing for the July 2018 start. Even though it's a private school their tuition is still cheaper than CU for non-residents.
  25. Hello from a fellow SWOSU student! I'm finishing up a few science prereqs there now. From what I understand, the admissions committee does not take into account prior work experience. They strictly base their decision on science GPA, last 60 GPA, and whether you have a completed degree. I've been told that the applicant pool the last few years has been very competitive, so it's possible your 3.3 GPA will be a hurdle. On the bright side you have all of your prereqs complete which can only help. I still have two outstanding so I'm worried I'll get waitlisted. Wish you the best of luck!
