Has anyone done their physical yet? I just got my titers and PPD done. My measles came back non reactive so my doctor told me to get a booster with my 2nd PPD next Wednesday, but the school's nursing office said i don't need a booster because my records show 2 vaccination so it counts as me being immune. Should I just get the MMR booster anyway? I didn't want to get a vaccine if I don't need it, but I feel like maybe I should. Has anyone else titers come back negative and you need a booster? I think i'm going to do my 2nd PPD and do the MMR booster together next Wednesday.

I'm able to register also, but I'm waiting for all the info we get on Monday. I'm sure they're going to tell us which one to register for. My registration status says overrides for nursing 101 but still says my major is undecided. I wonder when that changes.

Does anyone know if the 2 page autobiography is just about our lives or why we want to become nurses? I just don't want to waste time writing about the wrong thing.

Has anyone started their autobiography yet? Not sure where to start and how to keep it at 2 pages! lol

really??? where do I check that? I've just been checking my registration status which still hasn't changed. I just checked my degree evaluation and it still says not pursuing degree

I just got my official letter in the mail today. Feels nice to have a hard copy!

I believe that we need to get specific ones that have our school name on it. I think we find out at out orientation.

Mine is 11am also. It's actually my birthday so I'm happy I have an excuse to take off of work! lol How long do you guys thing the interview is? Maybe I should do a half day at work.

I was hoping for Winthrop! I live in Mineola so it would be super convenient. Do we get to choose or do they tell us? Does anyone know when we find out?

I didn't receive mine in the mail yet either! I think the email is what really counts though because it looks like an electronic copy of what they mail out anyway. Still hoping I get the physical letter soon though!

Hello, I decided to start a thread for those who have been accepted into Nassau's evening session for this fall. There aren't many of us so I figured this would be a nice way to get to know each other before September and give each other advice. I personally, have no idea what to expect and will appreciate any information and advice. I am planning on working on the 2 page autobiography we need to bring to our interview. Anyone start it yet? Is there something specific they will be looking for? Also, anyone know what type of stethoscope they're going to purchase? Look forward to hearing from you guys! Nancy

I got in the evening, but my registration status didn't change at all. So I wouldn't go crazy checking it. I think the email/letter is what shows if you got in. Did anyone's registration status change that got in?

No, there is literally just an attachment of the letter they mail out. Just says the day of my interview and to bring a passport size photo and a 2 page autobiography.
