  1. "Have one High School Chemistry course or CHM 101 or CHM 111 with a grade of "C" or higher." I copied this directly from the requirements listed for the program.
  2. Exactly that hahaha. I've been checking my email obsessively since I turned in my application but now that the day is close I can't help but check every hour.....at least loool
  3. Hahaha, same! Refreshing like mad!! I believe they close at 5 today, so a couple more hours, there's a chance! Can't wait another weekend I'm really hoping today's the day!
  4. It is extremely frustrating how they have no real explanation behind who they accept and reject. So upsetting as for various reasons this school is the only option for so many of us. I am annoyed at how disorganized NOVA is about the application updates and overall program but as it is in such demand we have to deal with it sadly. Good luck to each and every one of you, it ain't over till it's over guys!!!
  5. I believe it's where they sort everyone according to priority status based on where we live. Like the cities/counties served by NOVA will be chosen over someone out of their service area. Sorry, lol, I don't think I explained that very well.
  6. I'm guessing we receive an email regarding domicile review first, right? That's what I've read in past forums. If that's true, we'll know the decision is near! I was anticipating we would find out in the next few days but after reading everyone's comments, perhaps not. The wait is torture, but stay positive everyone! We got this.
  7. Anybody know estimates on how many people applied??
  8. Just received an update email from "MEC COUSELOR" which states that the nursing applications will be forwarded to the nursing department by the end of the week. I thought that already happened....lol oh well. The wait is killing me!!
  9. I contacted the MEC and a counselor told me desicions have not been made yet. She did not provide me with a timeline or potential of spots. Please post when you guys do hear anything. I am expecting we'all hear around the 20th or so according to timelines from past years. Guess we really just have to wait and see!
  10. Hey! I have not received anything as of yet. I'll update you when I do. Wish we had some updates going on the Facebook page or blog like other years. Well anyways, good luck!
  11. Hey vg2481, I do have one question. Do they look at the prerequisite GPA only or cumulative GPA?
  12. Thanks so much for taking the time to write out such a long and detailed response at no benefit to yourself! Not to sound like a stalker, but I do recognize you from the Fall thread on here, haha. I always found it funny how you prematurely referenced us whenever posting any information you had "for future applicants." Good luck in the remainder of your program and thanks again for the info.
  13. Can someone message the MEC on Facebook and see if we can get any better intel? I don't have Facebook or I would....
  14. Definetly expected this as it's always a disorganized mess. Everyone you talk to says something different. I'm just trying to piece stuff together to calm the anxiety of the wait! Haha. My application was delivered at the end of August, so that might be it. Just wish we could get some concrete info. Do you mind sharing what the email said or what email address you received it from so we know what to expect. Thanks!
  15. So I just called student services at the MEC. The women on the line said they haven't sent out any processing emails yet and that they will be sent out all at once. I'm not sure if this is confusion or misinformation...I did receive my USPS confirmation of delivery, if that happens to be what you guys are talking about. She said the timeframe is anywhere from 4-8 weeks for everything to be sent out (all the way to final decisions). I also asked if they had any stats or info on how many applicants there are or how many spots are available but she said she had no clue. I was a bit scared to call as my experience with NOVA employees has generally not been good, but she was nice. She did take my name however, so I don't know if that's a point against me...haha.
