Hey guys! How's the 1st semester at Mount Sinai? I'm wondering if any of you guys are willing to share some info.. how many days a week? Hours ect, how are the classes.

I WONder why they are deciding to do interviews this year.... tomo is the deadline. Hopefully we'll hear back from them soon

Yea.... 3 more days till deadline. As per 2017-18 forum the first person who posted their acceptance was 12/6, and many soon after that sooooooo fingers cross we'll hear something back in 2-3 weeks

Hi @encoremb just wondering when did you apply and when did you hear back from down state. I applied early sept still haven't heard back yet.... this waiting is driving my crazy. I need to adjust my work

Also.... I know it is still really early but has any one heard anything? the wait is killing me

I live pretty close to the school, it has its moments. Still pretty hood, the only thing "really" concerning might be the frequent flyers at the hospitals (usually intoxs looking for there next fix and homeless harassing you for money) the psych hospital is around the corner from school. Gets pretty rowdy on the weekend nights but plenty of cops and flood lights.... I know it sounds pretty concerning but I've lived here for about 16 months no incidents yet..

@wxyz2017 i live around the school.... it has some ups and downs. Usually safe during the day no worse then the city.. weekend nights can get rowdy.

Hey @wxyz2017 from what I've read via this massive thread people started to hear back around early dec... I applied for 2018-2019 in sept. Still waiting.....

@Encoremb Thanks for the intel. Unfortunately allnurses would not allow me to pm you. I am nervous, by GPA isnt fantastic my bachelors just meets the 3.0 requirement but my pre-req is around 3.6 as another user stated it "should" take about 6-8 weeks. For now it is a waiting game. longest 3 months ever!

@Encoremb if you dont mind me asking what is the summer schedule look like?
