  1. You can use the link below to determine what the class you took is equivalent to. https://tes.collegesource.com/publicview/TES_publicview01.aspx?rid=af5b7235-ec8f-4f03-bf67-a934bc2f9639&aid=365848d2-c2a5-47f5-82f3-6f23a5a280da
  2. They accepted my 'introduction to Chemistry' back in 2018. I don't think much has changed.
  3. Hello, I am in my second to last term at WCU. They charge based off academic year since the program is standard for everyone meaning they give you a schedule with the classes you will take and when you'll take them throughout the program. You only have the option of choosing what day/professor you want to take. If you are getting grants, FA, Scholarships or anything else then they take that into considering at "substract" it from your tution. Whatever amount remains is what you will have to pay them via cash or private loan. They offer monthly payment options interest free. I receive financial aid so my degree is costing me about $60K it's pretty pricy but worth it if you're just looking to get your BSN quickly. I waited 2 years to get accepted into ADN programs but kept getting waitlisted. For reference by GPA was 3.5 when applying with 3.8 in science courses.

  5. Same here! maybe we'll see each other in class soon
  6. @nurselore I am taking cultural pluralism & FYS & Critical reasoning. What about you?
  7. @nurselore Awesome! I am attending there too & start core in January as well. Heyyyyyyy í ½í¹‹*♀️
  8. @nurselore Which campus are you attending? I start core in January too! I know several people that graduated from WCU-LA with honors and worked while attending the program. It is totally doable if you apply yourself well. Another friend is currently attending, he will graduate in a few months, and has worked full time thus far.
  9. I don't believe it's soley lottery. But I mean, is it your first time applying ?
  10. Congrats! :) what are your stats?
  11. So sorry! I'm 77 the disappointment is real
  12. emails were sent out today number 77 for me yet again
  13. This cycle I only applied to Pierce. Wbu?
  14. @sambelike Right! That's what you'd think but it's so competitive here in LA. I'm seriously debating going to Westcoast but that debt does not sound appealing. Oh yeah, I will apply to more schools next cycle if I don't get a spot at LAPC. I really hope I get lucky though. That school is 10 mins from my house. I will be applying for the ADN-BSN program if i get accepted there. I initially wanted to go to LA county college but driving 40+ miles in LA traffic isn't so efficient when time is of the essence is nursing school. I could be spending that time studying. All in all, I hope we both get accepted!
  15. @sambelike hey, it's better than having to take it over again lol I got an 82. This cycle I'm just applying to LAPC. Long story short.. i took some classes out of state & most schools here didnt accept them since they are quarter units not semester so i took some classes again but most applications had closed by the time grades posted.
  16. @sambelike jeez! i don't even know why they give alt numbers like that lol i was 97. How did you do on your TEAS?
  17. Same here! Good luck. How did you first time applying go? As far as alt # etc?
  18. I did! My 2nd time applying. I'm hoping & praying the stars align right for me this semester & I get a spot that's not an alternative lol GOOD LUCK
  19. Is this your first time applying?
  20. Does anyone have an idea when we hear back from them regarding acceptance?
  21. So for the first part of the application, it is not necessary to bring transcripts? LACCD and outside? I read some where that it did but want to confirm with some one who has been there.
  22. Several people got accepted already, not me. Based on previous post, if you haven't heard back from them by npw then most likely we were rejected. What are your stats as far as points? etc
  23. i applied to 4 schools, got accepted to none. Don't feel down, we live in such a dense/competitive city. Our time will come.
