  1. Hello there! sorry if I just saw this now, I rarely open this account. Have you tried applying in UP Manila ? Afaik, state universities doesn’t have tuition fees although you have to return your service here in the country first (for a specific # of years) before you’ll be able to work abroad (if that’s your plan).
  2. Hi guys! I need a help or opinion about my plan for my second degree.. So as we all know, K to 12 was just recently implemented here in the Philippines, and bc the first batch of SHS are incoming college the curriculum for all the college courses changed, it is all new. Now, I just graduated from college (Batch 2018) and I am planning to take a second degree (first degree: BSBA; second course: BSN). So far my first choice of school is CEU but they won't be crediting any of my subjects from my first degree meaning I have to start and take everything again. Then I found a school, Emilio Aguinaldo College - Manila, who credits some of the minor subjects I took before, but thing is I don't have any idea about the school so I am kinda hesitant (but I saw that they have a high passing rate with regards to BSMT). My question is, if you were in my place, what school would you choose? EAC or CEU? or maybe you have a better idea? Thank you! :)
  3. Hi! Did you pursue BS Nursing?
  4. Actually when I got home I scanned the curriculum of EAC and there was a subject that wasn't included but has almost same course description. I was thinking that maybe the Evaluator just forgot about or didn't noticed it. Are you going back to EAC? The Evaluator told me that she'll be contacting me prolly next week when the Nursing Dean arrive here so she can formally evaluate my grades.
  5. Hi! [email protected], that's my real gmail but I don't use it that often bc it sounded jejemon HAHAHAHA maybe we could continue our talk there. Thank you so much! :)
  6. Hi! I went to EAC today but unfortunately the Dean was not around so a staff assisted me and did an interview and evaluation. She presumed that 32 units will be credited from my first degree but it's still not sure bc it needs the approval of the Dean. Are you going to enrol in EAC already? Thanks for helping me! :)
  7. How many days did EAC spent evaluating your TOR? :)
  8. Hi! Can you send it through email? I can create a "dummy email" that I can use haha. Or if you'll be using your own real email, I can later tell you my real name, too :) I tried to inquire in UMak, went there second week of June and unfortunately they have already closed their enrolment. Went to Makati Med and they won't be crediting any of my subjects -- unless my first degree is related to Allied Health but it is not, in Manila Tytana, they will be crediting some of the subjects but you have to have at least 85% of the grade.
  9. Hi! I postponed my enrolment in CEU haha. Did they tell you if how many years will you gonna be spending in studying BSN? If how many subjects were credited? or if they have a minimum grade as a requirement before they can credit it? I'm still finding a better school hehe
  10. Hello! Thank your for the response! But unfortunately, I can't find your messenger account (and I think it would be better if you'll delete your name in ta comment for security purposes hehe). Can you please update me here? :) Lanting is one of my choices before but I was thinking of not pursuing it bc their classes will already start this June 4 which is pretty early.
  11. OMG!!! CEU, where? Manila or Makati? I already had my entrance exam too and I'm planning to enroll today! Are you already enrolled?
  12. Nope, they wanted to see my Transcript of Records first. I'll be there this Saturday morning and proceed to the Dean's Office for the evaluation of my transcript. By then, I'll be having an idea how long will it take me to finish said course. There's a new curriculum that all nursing schools are mandated to follow, to be implemented this SY 2018 onwards. I took a management course, so I'm guessing that it will take me 3 yrs to finish the course. What's yours? We're on the same boat! I'm have a Marketing Management degree. How was your visit in Lanting? Did they tell you about how many years will it take for you to finish BSN? Thanks!
  13. Hi! Sorry for the late reply! I went to UST, CEU, FEU, Adamson, Mary Chiles, Makati Medical College, Manila Tytana, etc. (mostly schools in Manila) and most of them admits second courser for BSN! The bad news is that they won't be crediting any subjects from our previous degree. Have you guys already found a school or uni?
  14. Hi! I was thinking of CEU, since all of the schools I visited told me the same thing -- I had to go back from the start since all courses have different curriculum now due to the implementation of K to 12. Are you planning too to take BSN as a second degree? Have you already found a school? Sorry for the late response!
  15. You're right! I have to go back from the very start again. I just read about Lanting College (QC) in some forums and they told me that some second courser there just graduated after 2 years, not sure tho.
  16. Hi! I just saw this huhu I am so sorry! I'm planning to enrol in CEU, but I have to start from the beginning. they won't be crediting any of my subjects because of the new curriculum caused by K to 12. How about you? Where do you plan to take BSN?
  17. Hi! I visited lots of school in the Metro, but unfortunately all of them said the same thing -- our Government implemented K to 12 so basically all courses have new curriculum and they can't credit any subjects anymore, even the minor ones. We have to start again from zero.
  18. I just thought that I'll be taking an additional 2 years in high school because there's this "news" saying that the CHED requires all college students to finish their course before or on 2018 because if not, they'll gonna go back to senior high. But yea, you have a point, by next year I already graduated so I guess I'm not affected by it (???)
  19. Hello everyone, I'm from the Philippines and I'll be graduating next year with a Business-related degree. after I graduate I'm planning to take BS Nursing as a second course. My question is, can you guys recommend a great nursing school that I can graduate after 2 years or as soon as possible? I'm from Makati, btw. Thank you & God bless!
  20. Hi everyone! I'm currently living in the Philippines and I'm a graduating student (I'm gonna be graduating next year, June 2018) with a BSBA degree. I do really want to be a nurse and I'm not happy with my first degree. I became depressed and it stresses me out so I'm planning to study BS Nursing next school year. My question is, will I go back and take senior high? Since K-12 just started here. I'm really sad and scared right now because I really want to ne a Nurse, it is my dream ever since and I really do regret not taking it before!!! I want to take up Nursing as fast as possible (probably for 2 years) I'm living in Makati, maybe you guys know a school who accepts second courser and which is near Makati. Please help me. Thank you very very much!!!!
  21. Hi! We're in the same situation. I'm currently on my 4th year taking up Marketing. I realized that I really want to be a nurse when I was 2nd year but mu parents told me to just finish this. I was supposedly gonna take BS Nursing before but I was discouraged of the news about the rising unemployment and/or underemployment rate of Nursing. Next school year, I'm planning to take BS Nursing. Did you pursue your second course? If yes, where? Thank you! :) I would like to study in a school that would only require 2 years
