I would look for a job in a psych unit if working in a hospital setting if your plan is to work inpatient. Employers like the VA have large outpatient offices where they provide MH care also which can give you a good idea of MH patients and their treatment. Either way , I wouldn't delay but apply for the PMHNP .

Mostly online schools like Walden. I don't think there are any brick and mortar schools in FL that offer this specialty.

Hello everyone! I was accepted to the psych BSN- DNP program. Congratulations to all who got selected.Trying to get in touch with others enrolled in the USA spring 2018 program. The letter states about different states and if this program is accepted or not.Wondering what that means ,since for Florida it says approval not needed??
