  1. Hi- I need major advice regarding my future. I was in the nursing program in 2016 at WCSU, but I withdrew because I was emotionally drained and I thought I could handle it, but I couldn’t. One of my instructors suggested that I should withdraw and then come back, but I was in denial and thought I could keep up. I was involved in a relationship and long story short, I found out I was pregnant and had to make a decision whether to keep the baby or not. I ended up having an abortion because I felt unprepared in all aspects. But at the same time, I felt an inner sadness because of my boyfriend and just my body felt weird. I didnt tell any of this to the nursing chair department because I was embarrassed and I didnt want to be judged. Because of this, I withdrew without telling the program and the director of my decision and that caused tension. When I wanted to come back, they thought I wasn’t able to because they noticed that I wasn’t doing good on my tests and such, and I wanted to tell them about my situation, but I just couldn’t so that was it. Now its been almost three years now and I really want to continue on the nursing path, but I don’t know where to start. I had 4.0 gpa when I applied to the nursing program and my first semester of Nursing grade was all A’s and B’s. Please if you could give me an advice, Thank you.
