Powerful prayer that will help you pass your exam!
Trindle, that's a smart question. It seems you're a person that is literal and takes everything word-for-word. My purpose of sharing the prayer is to HELP those who are in desperate need or those of last resort to pray IN ADDITION to studying. I hope you weren't thinking that people pray there way in school without studying and get As. It's common sense to study. And it's worthwhile praying. So maybe you can take it easy on new writers like myself and not be exaggerative and thinking that bcuz you'll pray, you'll get an A. Common sense to study...

Powerful prayer that will help you pass your exam!
Hey Triddin, no one appreciates your "jokes" and sorry you're not a spiritual person. I hope you're blessed regardless of your smarty pants remarks. I also hope that you don't become one of those nurses that carry this demeanor with negativity on spiritual beliefs. God bless you.

Powerful prayer that will help you pass your exam!
Just wanted to pass this strong prayer that was told to me couple years back. Regardless of what religion you are, this prayer will help you with your situation (eg NCLEX passing, general troubles, etc). Please pray to Saint Expedite as I have and learned that I passed my NCLEX because of this prayer. Be sure to pray from your heart and continue to pray even after your prayer has been granted :). Prayer: "Our dear martyr and protector, Saint Expedite, You who know what is necessary and what is urgently needed. I beg you to intercede before the Holy Trinity, that by your grace my request will be granted. ____________ (Clearly express what you want, and ask him to find a way to get it to you.) May I receive your blessings and favors. In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen. If Saint Expedite grants your request, place an ad in the newspaper thanking Saint Expedite, so that his name and fame will grow." God Bless, and good luck to you all!

Received PVT good pop up, how long does it take to post on BRN?
Okay, responding to my own question so those of you will know what to expect... I took my NCLEX RN couple days ago Saturday, September 22 and received my result this morning via BREEZE (72 hours after exam), passed woot woot! Since California peeps do not have the quick results, the fastest way on learning if you passed is in this order: (1) Pearson Vue Trick (24 hours+), (2) BREEZE (48-72 hours), (3) DCA.gov (52-80 hours), then (4) Mail from BRN. The PVT really works, I highly recommend it. Go all the way until after you input your credit card number (put the wrong CVD and expiration). Youll receive the good pop or or the bad from there. Good luck all!

NCLEX was easy
Hello, you got lucky because I thought it was the most hardest exam I have ever taken in my life. I am a 3.8 GPA student with a master degree and have been in the field of health for 10 years (but this doesnt mean anything). I am just saying that out of the 20 years of my schooling, the NCLEX was definitely the hardest. Some people get really lucky with easier questions and there are some people who are just extremely bright to where they would understand any complex question. The questions are definitely unlike UWOrld @ 95%. I dont know if I passed yet as I just took my exam a couple days ago so cant provide my percentage. But congrats to you, glad you did well!

Received PVT good pop up, how long does it take to post on BRN?
Hello fellow students! I took my exam this past saturday and wondering how long it takes to have results posted on BRN website for CALIFORNIA test takers? I think it takes 48 hours, I heard but since mine was on a weekend, it probably wouldnt count sunday as 24 hours. So maybe receiving it tomorrow instead??? Im SO nervous ='(. I did the PVT and received the good pop up "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time." But I also understand that this is not always accurate. There are some students that received this response but failed. I also do not feel confident from taking the exam. It went all the way up to 226 questions and was getting fatigued and felt that I gave up at 125. Please advise, thank you for your time-I really appreciate it!

Applying with a CRIMINAL BACKGROUND
Hi all, just wanted to provide an update about my status. So I hired a professional licensing lawyer for nursing and was able to get an approval of my examination (wohoo). The end result was that no penalty was executed so I was able to obtain a potential license without any issues. I took my NCLEX yesterday, and awaiting to hear if I passed. Good vibes :). If you had the same situation like mine, I'd be happy to help provide guidance based on my experience. Good luck to all.

Application denial process, criminal conviction
Hello, I have submitted an application for NCLEX and have a history with conviction. The end result is that I actually dont have a conviction (felony/misdemeanor), however, they still do look at the previous case anyway so I know there possibly will be issues with my application process. If anyone had a conviction, what is the process after you submitted your application (time wise and steps). Thank you so much. Major anxiety ='(.

Denied to take NCLEX, should I take an attorney to my hearing???
Hi I have a similar case. Unfortunately, mine was not petty theft but a $4,000 welfare fraud aid collection that was committed in 5 years ago. My case was ultimately dismissed pursuant to 1230.4 and no felony or misdemeanor was accounted for. My court documents does state my arrest and my case. I hired a professional licensure lawyer to help me package everything up to apply to get my license. I have received 15+ letters of references from professional and personal people in my life, volunteered for two years at the hospital, volunteered at a homeless shelter (current), and received counseling. I am nervous what the BRN response will be. Has anyone been in the similar situation. Please help, very depressed and hopeless =(.

When should I apply for NCLEX-RN? California
Hi Nalie, what was your conviction if you dont mind me asking? Also did you disclose this on your application? What is your status now? I graduated 2017 and hired a BON lawyer to help me with the mit package to submit my character letters so I can take the NCLEX. Has anyone been in the same situation? I have one isolated criminal record with a dismissed felony/misdemenor and am submitting my application soon. Let me know your experiences please. Thanks!

Applying with a CRIMINAL BACKGROUND
No I was not physically arrested but I turned myself in, which I have fingerprints. Yes, I have requested the court dockets and my criminal background history which does indicate that there is a dismissal 1385 PC. Yes, the paperwork does show that I have fingerprints and was supposed to be a felony but never went that route. I hired a lawyer who specializes in working with the BRN and hopefully will work hard for me.

Applying to take the CNA test with record in CA
I have a criminal background that was dismissed pursuant to 1385 PC and was granted a CNA license. You should be ok but depends if your case was dismissed or expunged.

Applying with a CRIMINAL BACKGROUND
I have a criminal background for welfare fraud with a dismissal 1385 PC. I talked to many CA professional licensure lawyers in which some indicated that I can indicate that I was not convicted on the application, while others indicated yes to disclose. I am stuck in between because the most well known lawyer for defending situations like mine has told me to put no, however, the CA BRN application says to disclose cases that were dismissed or plead no contest (which I did but mine was withdrawn). Has anyone with a 1385 PC dismissal had the same situation? Please help. Thank you!
