  1. Goodness that was a long wait to hear anything. I probably would have picked Campbell as well. If not then Alaska í ¾í´” good luck to you!
  2. So exciting and so soon! How long did it take for you to get your orders after commissioning? I highly doubt I will make it for the November class (I wonder if it is possible for me to make that one). So I'm hoping for the February one. I am a new nurse so I only have 10 options of where I can go. I currently live in Germany (my husband is stationed here) so I feel like it's highly possible that I could get Landstuhl, but I want to go to Hawaii soooo I'm very anxious to see where I will go!
  3. No they did not. From my understanding it takes about a month after commissioning to receive orders.
  4. Well what are the odds! I just received the phone call and my time has finally come!
  5. Is anyone still waiting to actually commission from FY18? I was selected in Feb. scroll came back in July, but I still haven't commissioned. My recruiter said that everyone is having this issue? He said everything is done from the recruiting station's end, but we are waiting for the packet to be released so I can commission. Does anyone know what that actually entails and what in the world the hold up is?
  6. No, I am not. It's frustrating because I live in Germany and people are wanting to come visit but I am not sure when I will be leaving. :/
  7. I have no idea! I asked my recruiter about it and he never gave me an answer. Mine is good for another year, from when I was previously active duty. Maybe it needed to be redone since it was close to expiring?
  8. So, as I had previously stated, I was cleared to commission in July. However, I still haven't commissioned. At first my recruiter said there was something going on my with security clearance, which is odd in the first place because I still have an active clearance. Three weeks ago he said that he was finally seeing movement and that I should be able to commission (last week). I wrote him Wednesday but I have yet to receive a response. Is anyone else having any similar issues? I was really hoping to leave in November but I just feel as if I will never leave. (Yes, I am probably being too dramatic butttt it's driving me crazy).
  9. Well I was just informed yesterday, that he thinks he corrected all of the issues with my security clearance. I didn't even know there were any issues. No clue how much longer until I hear back now. I am really hoping I make that November class. Hopefully my orders don't take too long to receive, after I commission, if I ever do. I never would of thought this process would take as long as it does. We live in Germany so it really sucks that I can't plan to go back to the States because I'm in limbo. I'm trying to work on my patience but I'm to anxious at this point.
  10. I was selected for AD 66H for the February board. My recruiter told me July 11th that I was cleared for commission. I just spoke with him this past Friday and still hasn't heard anything about my paperwork. He said he would look into it, but who knows. It almost feels like I'm being Punk'd and will never leave. It seems as if the majority of people are having similar experiences.
  11. I actually found out today that I have been cleared for commissioning. He said my status is "RFO" (I think, assuming that means ready for orders??
  12. I honestly have no idea. My recruiter said that he thought that my scroll was already approved but there were extra steps for active duty. This was in May. I don't think anyone really has a clue. He was probably just trying to give me some sort of info so I would leave him alone haha He actually emailed me yesterday saying he needed me to come in and do my security clearance a different way before they can even release commissioning documents? I'm going in there today, so maybe he can give me some sort of hope.
  13. It's not just you! I'm in the same boat. I was selected in February, but at this point I feel like it was a scam and I wasn't even selected haha. About a month and a half a go, my recruiter had said that only 7/30 people the FY have actually commissioned. He had also told me that he thought one part of my scroll was complete, but who knows. Like I said, that was a while back. I was hoping to make the September DCC but I highly doubt that will happen.
  14. Have you received your orders and school date yet?
  15. I was selected for the February board. 66H as well in the CNTP, AD. Of course, no word yet. When were you selected? Active Duty?
  16. WHHHAAAATTT!!! You FINALLY got yours?! Heck yes! That's awesome! Congratulations to you!!
  17. Thank you so much for a detailed explanation! Wow! You have way more going on than I do. I would be extremely anxious if I were in your situation. Hopefully they get back to you ASAP. Congratulations on being 1 out of 2. That's an accoplishment. I graduated in May, worked for 4 months, moved to Germany and can't get a job because of the lack of experience. I'm just hoping to hurry up and put this knowledge to use before I forget it all. It appears that someone on this thread found out they were accepted and left four months later? I am just super antsy about hearing about where my duty station will be. I am praying for Landstuhl since my husband is stationed at Baumholder. We have a daughter so I really and not sure what our plan would be if I were to get a different place. I'm rather confident that it will all work out. Do you know much about that process? Is it like normal military orders. They send you orders with your duty station? Some people have made it seem that you actually talk with HRC and kind of pick where you go?Is DCC the Pre-BOLC? I was enlisted AD for 3.5 year. I got out in 2013. Do you know if I will have to go to the pre-BOLC? The Oath of Office, where does this take place? The recruiting station? Or MEPS? Will I go through MEPS? Or Will I basically just show up to the school? So sorry for all of the questions. I barely know anything about this process and I don't want to drive my recruiter crazy. If you don't feel like answering my 800 questions no worries :) I am just excited and anxious
  18. Also, I have seen a lot of people use the word scrolling? Is this for reserves? Or Both AD and reserves? And what does it mean e exactly?
  19. Hello! I am hoping y'all can give me some information. I have searched and searched and can't find much about active duty on the internet. I was just informed yesterday that I have been "unofficially selected" for 66H. My recruiter said that I was pending approval from congress/secretary of defense. How long after hearing that you were unofficially selected did you hear anything else? Such as duty station, BOLC date. Also, how far away should I expect to head to BOLC? Trying to plan my life up until I go. Thank you so much for any input. Also, congratulations to you all!
