CGFNS is very particular with they way the school send their forms/transcript.It should be on a sealed envelope with the name of the school, the address and the seal of the school in the envelope or else they will classify it as tampered and will not accept them. In mailing it to them via courier the name of the sender must be the school, college of nursing and not the person mailing it .Furthermore, they will not tell you the details what went wrong why it was not accepted.

I think it is not you who should submit this to PRC, all forms should be address to cgfns and they are the one mailing it to PRC and to your school.You dont even have to pay PRC or school for transcripts, form completion and mailing because cgfns will give them a portion of ur 390 USD payment.

The NCLEX test result is the NCLEX pass letter with your photo on it taken on your exam in Pearsonvue. Draft a letter explaining that you are asking for a copy of it to be mailed to cgfns for visascreen purposes and pay 10USD cheque or bank draft.Indicate your nclex id number ,complete name and date and place where u took ur exam in ur letter to make the process easier.I mailed mine on September 7 and cgfns acknowledged that they received the proof of nclex on oct 12.Goodluck. The problem is not your visa but your educational attainment in the long run may be not acceptable in CA BRN as most Philippine graduates have concurrency issues and ask to take Or comple courses again to fill their deficiencies. I think some schools have already updated their curriculum in the Philippines to deal with this issue but scouting for school maybe difficult.I suggest to study in US if you are planning to work in Ca.If you really want to study in the Philippines because of financial constraint then choose a school in which cases are concurrent.

Talking from a third world country perspective, I think that our education is really not comparable to their standard and even my friend who graduated from a certain oldest reputable University in Asia was made to take a bridging program which is costly and has a long waiting list.My friend is currently working as a caregiver to elderly people in their homes in Canada and making a decent living. Work in Canada and save the money for your bridging program.Then pass your NCLEX after.

Yes, u shouldn't have said u contacted PRC because they will say ur intervening with the process.Your license is not a prerequisite to take NCLEX in NY.Even if NYSED ask for ur license, it is easier for u to ask PRC to send it to NYSED directly.

You dont need ur red ribbon documents to apply because the school and prc would be the one to send it to cgfns for cvs.It should come from them or else cgfns will not accept ithem. Pay cgfns cvs and they will do the rest of the work for you including contacting the school or prc.The 390 USD payment will cover all the cost so u need not to pay ur school/prc for documents and mailing. Usually cgfns takes at least 6 mos to process so just review for your NCLEX. You can take the child abuse and infection control course before or after u successfully passed the exam.If u have completed the course just email them ur certificates. After cgfns has issued a report they will mail it to nysed.Then nysed will email u and approve u to sit for the exam. Register for pearsonvue, pay 200 USD.Then NYSED will email ur ATT within 2-3 days. Pay 150 USD in pearsonvue for scheduling and they will give u a date when to take the exam. Are u applying for CES or CVS? I think the problem is within the cgfns.A person from PRC told me that they send their license verification form by bulk and sometimes the payment is delayed so they cant process ur request.PRC is not lying because eventhough u can see that their office is a mess they are quite efficient in sending and accepting mails.CGFNS is to be blamed because they are a monopoly and they can delay ur process.They say they mailed it 3 times if the PRC is not replying but they cant tell u when they have sent it because it is not allowed and u should not intervene with the process.I applied in may 2016for cvs, cgfns mailed the report in nov 2016 to NYSED.They mailed it without my license and I have been made eligible.

Call cgfns and ask what is the problem.Sometimes they will not email u regarding the problem so better call them.

1. Choose the state u want to work in. 2. Once u passed NCLEX in one state u can endorse it to another, so it is valid. 3.Browse through the different BON website because their application varies from state to state.Some uses cgfns ces or cvs for nysed to verify ur education and licenses, other state do it themselves.

It is better to study in the US. But because of financial reasons u want to study in the Philippines, choose a reputable school whose curriculum is somewhat equivalent to the requirements of the state u want to work in the future.

Maybe the proof of nclex is the NCLEX PASS LETTER, the one with ur photo from Pearsonvue that u will ask from your BON.IN Ca BRN there is 10 USD fee to request..Just request ur BON to submit the NCLEX Pass Letter to CGFNS.

No. They said CGFNS report is there they are just waiting for Form 1 and 143 USD.

Do not be worried.Even if PRC did not send your license verification, as long as your school sends the verification you are okay.CVS has sent my report to NYSED without the PRC verification.When I called NYSED to ff up my application,they said Report from CGFNS is there they are just waiting for the Form 1 and 143 USD (which I sent on May 2016) .There is no way accdg to my bank Metrobank to know if the bank draft has been encashed,so what I did was I send my Form 1 again and another 143 USD. My friend and I processed and sent same requirements at the same time and mail all the forms to NYSED in same mail but different envelopes.My friend got NYS approval to take the exam on Feb 2017.CGFNS sent her report on Jan 2017 without PRC. Then CGFNS emailed to her that the license verification from PRC was received on April 2017.

CGFNS will say that it is not allowed for you to call the school for such information because it is as if you are intervening with the process .You cannot even inquire them about which date CGFNS SEND the forms to your school because accdg to them its confidential and no way to know whether they send it to the correct address/ correct school.They will just say " it says here that we have already sent the forms so you just have to wait." CVS is really a long process. Only few people are lucky enough to to finish CVS for 6 mos.

Just want to Share my Experience..... I have similar problems with you, I have started CVS application on May 2016 and after the 90 days period still the PRC Manila said they havent received any verification forms from CGFNS, twice I inquired it myself on October 2016 .I was just on my vacation in the Philippines when I inquired so imagine the trouble I have to go through coming from distant provinces just to ask it myself because their call hotlines are not being answered. PRC Manila said that the representatives of CGFNS Manila has quite a reputation of being delinquent in sending the verifications to them. On December 2016 they sent CVS to NYSED without my license and I was so worried that I will be denied because of that. I called NYSED and they said that CGFNS report is there but Nurse Form 1 (APPLICATION for licensure) WAS NOT RECeIVED TOGETHER WITH THE 143 usd BANK DRAFT which I mailed on May 2016. So what I did was to resend the application form together with another 143 USD,such a bummer! i LOST 143 usd. At last on May 2017 I got my NYS approval to take the exam. So imagine I waited for 1 Year... Morale of the story: Just be patient. I stopped calling NYSED and CGFNS because if they said they did not receive it then you can't do anything about it. THE STRUGGLE IS REAL MAH FRIEND.......

If you are still working in Saudi, usually after 3 years you can apply for a Nurse specialist without need to retake the exam. My friend was updated from Nurse technichian to Specialist. She is in Saudi Arabia working since 2010.

It is an easy test, basic knowledge compared to CBT and NCLEX. 50 questions to the max and 60% passing rate or lesser I think. Just refresh your knowledge more on medical surgical cases because usually that is the bulk of the exam.
