Nursing in Canada + NCLEX
Thanks of responding! It was a bit confusing to me... it says that "based on curricular performance at the ETP level, the education this applicant received is COMPARABLE to that of a Canadian". However, this does not denote full comparability for each dimension. When i look at all the sub-sections... about 75% are comparable and then 25% "Somewhat comparable"

Nursing in Canada + NCLEX
Hi everyone, looking for anyone with experience at applying for Registration in Canada as an overseas RN. I obtained my bachelor in Australia & have finished NNAS and been called to sit NCLEX. Does anyone know if that means I meet the criteria to become a RN in Canada? It's 1200km to my nearest NCLEX testing location... so I don't want to go and pay all that money/ study etc then find out I have to do an additional bridging course (more money/ more study!). Do you think they have accepted my qualifications as "equivalent" if they have required NCLEX? Thank you In advance

RN working as AIN?
Thanks everyone. Unfortunately it is beyond my control having to move back to Canada-- family circumstances demand it. So I am just doing my best to try and get Registered or find an option in the health sector. From what I can gather Quebec Registered their assistant nurses though OIIAQ. Oh well, I suppose I can only apply and see how I go! Worst case scenario I'll work back at Quiznos ;-)

RN working as AIN?
Hi everyone, I am in the long process of becoming registered in Canada as an RN from Australia. Just curious, if we move there before my registration goes through--- can i work as an assistant nurse while i wait? Most likely to be Ontario or Quebec. Thanks!
