  1. I passed! I'm very excited about it still and continuing my Nurse Practitioner program. I will be finished with this last program next year and taking the certification test. Thanks for checking on me.
  2. My apologies. I think I responded to the wrong post. I did pass boards, if I didn't already give this follow-up. Thanks for the UWORLD info. Excited that I passed NP competency labs as well. I hope your program is going well too. Please let me know if there's anything I can assist with in the future. Happy nursing!
  3. How did it turn out?

Hello, I'm a repeat for NCLEX RN. I'm using UWORLD and Kaplan review content book only now. I like UWORLD because it gives good explanations on each answer choice, gives feedback of everyone who has answered in percentage form to each choice, and it's more challenging. I've tested anywhere from 50s to 70s. I took a practice test yesterday that told me my odds of passing is borderline currently. I'm not too caught up in the score. I'm really trying to understand the rationales. I'm testing September 8th. I tested 45 days ago and got 265 questions. My cpr said near pass. Hoping for the best this time guys.
  5. Hello, Could I please get a copy of the study guide as well? Thanks in advance. My email is [email protected]
  6. I've heard 265 times questions is a neat pass and that's what I got the first time.
  7. Thanks for the feedback. I've been doing UWorld religiously. I really like it. My score is overall in the 72nd percentile. I'm also doing NclexRN mastery. It seems easier than UWorld, but still gives me some practice and rationale. I'm also over 72%. Each has a bank of about 1800 questions. So my plan is to review notes and read books over systems then take questions throughout the day and check rationale. I'm just playing it like the lotto. Thanks again. I'll keep you updated. Scheduled for September 8th test date.
  8. Hello, I found your story amazing and similar to my own. I did not pass last month. I got 265 questions. The CPR said near pass for primarily all the categories, 1 above passing and 1 below passing. I have a little one as well and have been working with my husband to get some library time. I've really deviated from classmates. I tried telling a few for feedback and it didn't go well. They really just gave their subjective experience and how happy they are to be done with it. They omitted any information on suggested study plans or methods. This site has been a lifeline for me. I look at all the stories to find inspiration and know that I'm not alone. I've registered to take the test again first week of September. Previously I tried Hurst, Kaplan, etc.. I spent a lot of money. This time I plan on concentrating on certain material and doing questions each day. Initially I was doing 20, then I switched to 75. Now I'm just doing as many as I can on apps throughout the day. My minimum is 75. Yesterday I did 200. It really just depends, but I'm making sure to check rationale on every question. It's really an uphill battle. I brought a journal to vent and maintain some type of sanity. NCLEX rn mastery shows I'm at a 72% overall. I'm just reading, taking questions and reviewing rationale until test day. Congrats!!!!
  9. Congratulations and thanks for the insightful post. I have not been as successful with my NCLEX-RN experience. I am a repeat, which in some cases makes me feel like I've been put into a drug rehabilitation program. "Hello, I'm Dori and I've failed the NCLEX-RN." Crowd replies, "Hi, Dori." I've turned to my classmates that have passed and failed. However, I didn't receive the feedback that I was looking for. The ones who have failed are in hiding and some unmotivated to study again. The ones who have passed are happy to share that they passed, but not preparation. I found your post to be the most straightforward post on this website. I am needing my license to continue my NP program as well. I just took my test yesterday. I got 265 questions. I was so excited to keep getting questions that I didn't mind the load. However, when I knew there were no more questions to answer I felt the opposite. I had every question you could think of, except use of the headphones. Many of the questions were triage, SATA and priority. I tried the PVT trick and it had me pay for my exam. Yes, I paid $200 before my results were available. It's not a good indication, but I'm still happy. If I have to take it again, bring it on. At least I have $200 to retest, time before my results are due, and study materials. I've taken Hurst, Kaplan, and NRSNG. To each its own. I wasn't a horrible student in my BSN. I graduated 4.0. I just think maybe my journey is different than others. I will probably find out my official unofficial results tomorrow. I'll work on a study plan and incorporate UWORLD. Thanks again. If you have any other feedback, highly appreciated. My goal is to stay persistent and dedicated to completing this journey.
