  1. I also heard back within a week of interviewing. I applied back in November and was interviewed during the big interview week in January. So it could be different!
  2. So the preference form sends your resume and application to those departments. Then they review and decide to interview, I think it took a month before I heard if I was going to interview (but this was when the initial application opened after Thanksgiving).
  3. When I got the phone call with my order the recruiter told me that the onboarding navigator will contact me about 60 days out from the start date (in May). No point in her contacting us this far out, just get your on boarding stuff done!
  4. I had 3 interviews. Two were panel interviews with NICU, L&D, Woman’s, and mom & baby (FW & SW) and one was one-on-one with SW ED. But it was during the big interview event in January.
  5. Quick question! How many precepting hours do y’all do the last semester? We do 120 in N.C..
  6. Thank you for letting me know!
  7. So I am an out of state student. My school just delayed classes and are transitioning to online (not sure how that’s going to affect preceptorship). Are Texas schools doing the same?
  8. I applied to take my exam in Texas online while I currently reside in NC, as I will be moving there in May. The TX BON licensure by examination page will give you all the information you need to know. Just know that you will need a signed affidavit from your school upon graduation which will certainly delay your ATT.
  9. Yay!! That’s so awesome! Can’t wait to meet everyone!
  10. Congratulations on your offer! Yay to future coworkers!
  11. Yes we are! I am not sure if it is different at every location, but you can reach out to your recruiter for specifics. Southwest has 6 different shift pays starting at an additional $4 for weekday evenings (7-11p), $4.25 for nights (11p-7a), weekend days ($6), weekend evenings ($9). and weekend nights ($10)
  12. I will be a BSN but I am an external and out of state applicant. I don’t think being an ADN should be a reason to turn you down... especially since they will require you to get a BSN within a certain amount of time anyway. I’m sorry you didn’t get an offer that go around.
  13. Hey everyone, kinda late to this party. So I interviewed in January for Fort Worth's Women's Services group interview panel, as well as, Southwest's ED and Women's Services. I was offered and accepted a L&D position with Southwest (so if anyone else did too let me know!). Let me know if you have any questions and I can try to answer. Good luck to everyone!
  14. I interviewed with the panel at Fort Worth for L&D, NICU, and women's in January. I did not receive an offer for them but I did for the Soutwest location. Don't attempt to shake their hand due to flu season ? I tried to introduce myself and shake their hands and it was an immediate "We don't shake hands due to flu season" put me on the wrong foot immediately.
