@Squirrelcatcat841 burden of proof per CA is submitting letters from sponsors, NSG facilitator, employer, friends, or church. Anything speaking of your good character. It also can include if you’ve done rehabilitation, schooling voluntary work etc.
Hi MikeD, I'm a nurse. I got tested positive for urine and blood last year and has been in a limbo with the BON to get my license back. I have to go to a hearing in July but with the current Covid-19 situation I don't even know if that's on schedule or it'll be push back. It's been 8 months already. I was sick and have been taking Eastern medications, absolutely no drinking at all. I've been doing all sort of research about false positives but there has not been that many studies to refute the PETH tests. I don't know what you came up with in your research but I'm about to accept my fate.
Hi Charprepton, ADN. I'm about to go to a board hearing in CA in July. I can't afford a lawyer. I'm going back because I test positive for alcohol in urine and blood. I consulted two lawyers and they are charging 8k-10k. I simply can't afford that because I'm out of a job and with this current Covid-19 situation it's so hard to find a non nursing job. I have to go without a lawyer. Can you share your experience with the lawyer? Thank you
