  1. Hi, TheRomaniac, I'm not sure if you got the manual or not, but on section E.1.3, there is a lesson on sentence diagramming as well as questions that ask to diagram sentences; will such questions be on the TEAS test? I am talking about the ones where you draw the subject, verb, and object on the top column, separated by vertical lines; then, their modifiers follow below.
  2. Hello, I am not sure if it is just because I am a slow learner, but it is taking forever for me to read through the ATI Manual (grey cover). I am in the science section and since it is so much information I am trying to comprehend, it takes me MULTIPLE days to go through one page. It is very disheartening. The test is coming up soon and I am so slow. When the science portion, for example, recommends learning the structure of an organ or a process, I have to Google that information on my own which takes time. Does anyone have any tips? Words of encouragement? Virtual hugs? Note, here is my study plan: 1. Read Manual 2. Take Tests on Manual & review answers 4. Take online practice tests (ATI Website) & review answers
  3. Hi, I was wondering what your TEAS score was? I'm aiming for an 82% at least since that gives me 30/35 points on that criteria.. no way would I think I'd get a 90% anyway. That's the only thing I have to do pretty much before I apply T___T so scary
  4. Hi, I am planning on taking the TEAS as soon as I feel prepared, but I have a question: Is studying the manual (grey cover) thoroughly, especially the science section, recommended? 1. I know it will probably take me a while if I were to study the entire manual frontwards and backwards, but I am also going to use other sources to study. 2. After that, I was planning on purchasing the TEAS PRACTICE Tests online from the ATI website to see if my studying paid off. Then I was going to review my weaknesses and study some MORE on those. Does this sound like a good plan? Or should I take the PRACTICE Tests FIRST BEFORE STUDYING (basically do the steps in reverse)? I've read that recommendation, but it feels like I would be wasting $$$ on a practice test I know I won't be prepared enough to do well on. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much!
  5. Hi, which TEAS app did you use? I downloaded both TEAS Mastery and ATI TEAS Pocket Prep, but I'm not sure which one I should I invest in purchasing the full version of.
  6. What score did you get from the new TEAS?
  7. Will there be FORMULAS given during the TEAS or do we have to have them in mind? I'm taking a practice exam on Mometrix, and a question involves a picture of a cylinder and finding its surface area. NO FORMULA(S) were given, and it was pretty complicated: 2pir2 x 2pirh.... I'm thinking to myself, "How am I going to remember all these formulas???" If anyone has any info, please let me know!

  10. Just to clarify and make sure... for the math portion, we are given FORMULAS, right? (For area, volume, etc.) I saw someone say they had to know how to convert Celsius to Fahrenheit on a practice test and was NOT given the FORMULA. Please help me get some clarification on this!! T_T
  11. Thank you so much!!!
  12. 1. Is a formula/conversion sheet or any extra information for the math section given out? For example, if they ask to find the surface area of a cylinder, are we expected to know the formula for that? 2. What kind of four function calculator are we given? Are there functions such as square root, negatives/positives, and percents? Or is it simply +, /, -, x? Thanks, all!!!! -Nervous Pre-Nursing Student
