  1. I was waitlisted and I received my acceptance on Thursday! There's still hope, good luck to you all!
  2. How do you know if you are waitlisted? I logged into the portal but I am unable to find any information. What did you click on the website to find it?
  3. I am able to log into the portal but I am not able to search for classes. Is this the case for you or are you not able to log into the portal at all?
  4. How am I able to see if I was waitlisted or rejected on the portal? I have access but I can't find a letter. Where do I go to find it?
  5. Hey everyone so I called one of the graduate admission evaluators and I was told there is no estimate time of when acceptance letters will be sent out, but it can be as soon as in a few weeks. Also, even if you applied on the last day as long as you applied by the deadline you have full consideration.
  6. Nope nothing yet. I applied last minute though on the last day
  7. When did you apply? I applied super last minute on the last day When did you apply?
  8. Hi everyone, I've been accepted to the Hunter psych NP Program full time. However, I was wondering if anyone can give me some insight about the program regarding the level of difficulty and if I will be able to work full time and go to school full time. Also, approximately how many days a week would I be required to attend classes in person. Thanks!
  9. I did the trick and typed in my name In the directory and I got an error :( I guess I did not get accepted. :(
  10. Hi all. I made this forum for those of you who are applying to the Hospital for Special Surgery Residency or those of you who currently work there. I just have a few questions regarding the program If anyone can answer. 1. How is the culture/dynamic like in the hospital? Is the staff/ and or patients friendly? Does everyone work as a team and willing to help others? 2. What is the salary for a new grad resident? The residency program is 1 year and I was wondering how much they pay residents. 3. Can be grads make their own schedules or is it based on seniority? 4. What are the benefits like? Health, dental, tuition reimbursement etc? I recently received a phone call from HR and was wondering what the hospital was like to see if I am interested, thank you ?
  11. There should definitely be more seats left don’t worry. I think they’re accepting by GPA. So 4.0, 3.9. Then 3.8 etc.
  12. They sent it to both emails. I got the letter on my personal email at 11:46am and my school email 11:47am.
  13. Thank you ❤️ Science GPA: 4.0 cumulative GPA: 4.0 HESI: 89% Critical Thinking: 820
  14. I got my acceptance letter today for the generic program a few minutes ago!
  15. I 100% agree with this. The LEAST the department can do is issue out an email apologizing for the delay. I understand it can be frustrating for them to constantly repeat themselves to students, but I think it would be pretty logical for them to put an announcement on their website updating everyone on what’s going on. It would save them a lot of time.
  16. I haven’t gotten anything either. But there’s a zoom meeting this Saturday with the advisors from 10-2 if you want to ask them any questions.
  17. I just got off the zoom call meeting. They told me as soon as they know what the budget cut is, they will be informing students if they got accepted. There’s nothing we can do but wait at this point.
  18. I’m so confused. I thought there were people in the department saying that acceptance letters should be going out from now until the 15th? What is going on they are so unorganized.
  19. Is the drug dosage calculation test difficult? I’m no good in math and this makes me nervous . Also, what is the program’s policy on hairstyles? Are we allowed to wear our hair out or do we always have to wear a ponytail/bun? I know in clinical settings we have to have our hair tied up but what about on campus? And one last question, do you know anyone who scored below a 75 on a certain portion of the HESI and still got accepted?

  21. Hi, it all depends on how well your competitors do. So for example, if the majority of people who apply have a GPA of 3.2-3.5, you would have a good chance of getting in. The cut off GPA changes every year, but I noticed a pattern of the GPA cut off being around 3.5. But you never know, stay hopeful and have back up plans. Your HESI scores look great ?
  22. Also, does anyone know how to calculate science GPA only? I only see my overall GPA on CUNY first.
