  1. How did you make out applying to Umass Boston? I applied to the Fall program and I am going to be doing it part time.
  2. Try searching for Ian Sim , Norwell High School. Profile pic of a baby wearing a grad cap.
  3. Let me know if one gets started. I don't go on Facebook that often but probably would for this. Thanks!
  4. Congratulations to everyone that's gotten in so far. I got my acceptance letter yesterday as well. I'm really excited about it. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone too! Good luck all
  5. Good luck everyone! I also read in another thread that the acceptance letters come in a small envelope, so don't get discouraged if you get a small one unto you open it.
  6. I have not received anything yet except the email saying they would mail on the 10th. Regarding interviews, I didn't have one but the website says they are a possibility, but don't mean you are accepted or not, they're just to get more information. Not having an interview doesn't mean anything either.
  7. Hi - I haven't heard anything about an interview. I don't think they do an interview for every applicant. Also, I only saw that decisions would be made July 1st, but another person posted on this thread that decisions would 7/15. So, what I'm saying is, I'm in the same boat as you. Good luck!
  8. I would imagine with all of the applications they get, it may be a differentiation. I also read a post that said they were looking for LPN's which I thought was interesting and not in line with what the program is/should be
  9. I do not have any medical experience either. I kind of thought the whole point was to be able to switch careers, but it does make sense for folks to have some medical experience in some capacity.
  10. I don't know anyone that went through the program, but I've heard it's pretty intensive but good and also the clinical ls hey have are very good.
  11. I'm not sure how the NursingCAS is calculating my GPA. I have older undergrad grades + recent grades from all of the Pre-reqs + a master's degree. It listed my cumulative undergrad as 3.18 and overall as 3.28. I'm hoping my most recent stuff is considered more highly than my old undergrad grades.
  12. Hi - had everyone finished their applications? I just need to hit submit. What were y'all's stats for pre-reqs etc? Just curious since so many apply to this program.
  13. Hi, I am working submitting mine now. The site was definitely a little wonkey. I hope you got everything squared away. Good luck!
