  1. From my personal experience it has always been around $13/hr +/- $1.50.....
  2. According to the handbook I found on Georgia CNA License - Free CNA | Free CNA (which seems to be up to date) you are correct in that you will need 8hrs to qualify for reciprocity. If it was me, I would try to take the test in Georgia as standards don't change that much. However, this is completely up to you!
  3. Baycare is a great Tampa medical group! You will have a simple phone interview to go over the basics. If they feel comfortable moving forward, they will typically set up an in person interview next. As long as your background is decent and resume looks ok you should be good to go. I wouldn't say it is super competitive but... there definitely is a lot of people out there trying to get into these positions.
  4. Most States require you to be 18 to work as a CNA for obvious safety and health hazard issues.
  5. I also agree with everyone else in that you should stay at home. Nursing school is ridiculous competitive, at least in Florida, so you will want to have amazing grades and extra curricular activities on your record.
