If you live in NY, you don't need SSN to take the exam! (I believe there are few more states that don't require SSN) However, my friends who are F1 students and graduated last year were not able to get a hospital job, but they work at nursing homes through an agency. And somehow, they haven't apply for RN-BSN program due to OPT term. (thats what I was told, not sure why they can't) You can always email me at, [email protected] Good luck! Hi all! I was a F1 foreign nursing student in NY. I've applied for Green card, and just received the Employment Authorization card. My original Greencard interview was in April, but has been delayed due to the pandemic situation. So, I'm in AOS (adjustment of status) process, and I have my social security card. My previous status (F1 student visa) has been expired, because I am in green card process. I'm about to process NCLEX in NY. There's a question about my immigration status. Do I put non-immigrant (temporary in US)? Which one should I put? Thank you in advance!!
