  1. I think I am too! I also got accepted congrats to everyone! Have u completed your pre reqs for EMU?
  2. I literally cannot wait I applied in January and hopefully we all get in together! I just gave my email to one of my close friends and asked her to check it for me everyday because I will go crazy checking it all the time. Im hoping they get back to us next week. I know Im thinking ahead but just out of curiosity...Do you guys know when or where you would like to complete your BSN?
  3. I will be applying for fall 2018! I've alreayd finished my pre reqs and passed the HESI! Good luck to all of us!!! As far as I remember there was a calculator during the entire portion of the math exam.
  4. Hello, how many points did you guys end up with before you applied?
  5. Hello, do you know anyone who got in the program with points lower than 60?
  6. For those of you wondering what the HESI is like at HFC im here to tell you. I won't give examples that were straight from the test. I passed and my over all score was an 87.5% Math: 96% This was really easy the handouts on the HFC website were very helpful and the elseveir HESI A2 book helped also. It was mainly multiplying, dividing, adding, subtracting fractions and decimals. And finding percentages. When I reviewed for this exam I didn't think there would be a calculator...but there is. So for ex if there is a question that asks what is 32% of 5 all you have to do is plug it into the calculator and that's it! Handouts - Nursing Assessment Test (NAT) MATH | HFC Learning Lab Reading Comprehension: 88% This section was also pretty easy I used the HFC handouts which helped a lot! Make sure you complete all of the handouts. I didn't use the book for this section. Handouts - Nursing Assessment Test (NAT) ENGLISH | HFC Learning Lab Grammar: 80% I scored the lowest in this section. The way I studied for grammar was by memorizing all of the grammar terms in the book such as pronoun, noun, predicate, predicate nominative etc. That didn't help much just review the terms but don't wast your time memorizing them. You mainly need to know adjective, adverb, verb independant, defendant clause etc. Questions consisted of "Choose the word that makes this sentence incorrect." Which wasn't in the book. Vocab ab and knowledge: 86% I don't know how I passed this section. Only about 10 of the words in the book were on the test and the rest you would have to use your past knowledge to come up with the correct answer. I guessed a lot in this section. There isn't really a way I would advise you to study. Maybe get familiar with pre fixes.
  7. WOW!! That's GREAT I'm So happy for you! What a relief! ...how long would you say it took you to study for it and what was the most difficult part of the test? I take mine in about 2 months so I'm a little anxious í ½í¸¬
  8. Do you think it would have been a good idea if we took our HESI before completing pre requisites?
  9. Good luck! I hope you ACE it! I take it in July please let me know how it went! I have one question..how many points did you end up with with out the HESI?
  10. Hello! Congrats to everyone who made it in! I was wondering what you guys made on the HESI And how long it took y'all to study for it?
