  1. Hello Hannah1999.. what words of wisdom can you offer to us that are starting the first semester? I am really interested to know what I can expect. Ik the semester starts in a week but i'm so anxious, nervous and excited that i cant help but ask.
  2. For the NAT i studied all the words in the Elsevier. I also got study guides from the 3rd edition Elsevier. (are they still using edition 4 as the study guide?) I got a 94% when I took it. Also as the semesters go on.. Im told the clinical day increases to 2 days a week. I know there's an online class as well in the other semesters. If you go to the website I think there;s a schedule there. Are you applying for Winter 2019?
  3. Hello, I start the program on the 23rd so I dont know what to expect but I can tell you the classes are 2 days a week with a 1 day clinical. The section that i chose is Tuesdays 9a-2p and Wednesday 11a-4p. With that section my clinical is Thursdays 7a-1:30p (you have to be at your clinical 10 mins early) Then there's the study time which I have no clue. They say you should study 2 hours per credit hour I believe. The entire program works out to be a 38 hour weekly program. I have kids myself but I think as long as you manage your time appropriately and have a good support team AND you want this.. you can do it! Good luck:-)
  4. I'm in!!!! Congrats to everyone!!
  5. @futureRNur I think im going to EMU.. @ SuperNurse2021 I agree with you. They wont tell us anything and I'm almost positive they know who's in or not.. I just want to confidently say IM IN! LOL
  6. The end of March is a bit long for us to wait seeing how we submitted in January.. But whats's everyone doing to keep themselves from thinking about it? Every time I get an alert in my hawkmail im thinking is this it? LOL
  7. Same here! Smh. Maybe next week..
  8. Nope. They are now saying everyone who applied by Jan will hear back by Mid to late March. I just dont understand how they know they need ro extend the dates to fill more spots but are making us wait so long to know if we're in or not!
  9. Well thats great news! I just wished they'd tell us before the end of March! But that makes me fell a little be better. Thanks for the info
  10. That really SUCKS! Sheesh! I'd be upset as well! @ athomas08
  11. LOL! I hope so! The end of March is way more than 4-6 weeks from Jan 29... IJS
  12. That makes sense.. Well guess we'll know at the END of March
  13. Exactly! But that would mean they know NOW who's in right? LOL..
  14. I got that email as well.. May its like you said. Because I was told they accept 120 per semester.. maybe of the people who submitted In jan there werent enough to fill the 120 slots?? IDK.. i am sooo anxious
  15. Oh wow! I hope so because I am really stressed! Waiting for Feb to end! LOL! I wonder why they extended it?
