In my own case, the NMBA decided on my application on 7 September 2017, and then invited me to make a submission by October 15 2017. I have submitted the submission and was informed that it has been received. The supporting documents therein undergoing assessment. However, I was given an extension till January 31 2018, for the board to make their final decision. Chibundo

Hi everyone, the outcome of my assessment was mailed to me this morning stating AHPRA's intention to refuse my application. However, there are certain things I do not understand about their decision. AHPRA requires me to undergo further studies in an NMBA approved pre registration program leading to registration as a registered nurse. Does this by any way mean a bridging program. Further more, they gave me an opportunity to make a submission before 15th of October stating that if I do not make a submission that my application is to be considered refused. Please am in dire need of clarification.

hello everyone am new here, my application is currently with AHPRA for the past 3 months. However I was told by my R.O that they aren't familiar with the qualification I got from Republic of Benin. He has forwarded my application to the expert/ research officer for further assessment and I don't know how long its gonna take. Does anyone have any idea how long such assessment take. Again as regards the immunization process for the bridging program, can someone enlighten me on how to go about it cos am usually proactive and needs to be prepared Thank you
