  1. T am definitely planning on continuing to travel. don't get me wrong - the experience is great. I have enjoyed these last 2 years. The best is getting to see the country - my husband and I spent last year in California and it was exciting. It's not the assignments (I've only had one bad experience). My problem is knowing if I got the best deal I could have. I meet other travelers and sometimes, not always, I feel like I was short changed. I would just like to stay with one agency that would treat me fairly because I always give them 100%.
  2. My specialty is critical care, ICU.
  3. I've been traveling for two years - I've been with 3 diff. agencies, amer mobile, cross ctry, medstaff. They're pretty much the same. Whenever I go south, I end up taking apay cut. I haven't gotten a raise in two years, never rec'd a bonus even though most agencies will advertise them. I went to California last year and it cost me almost $800, they reimbursed me $250. Would appreciate any help in how to negotiate.
  4. I'm also looking for another assignment - have been traveling for 4 diff. assignments and don't find much of a difference between companies. Am I looking at the wrong agencies - Am. Mobile (which you dont like and I agree with you) cross country and medstaff. I don't think I'm getting such a great deal but dont have anything to compare with.
