  1. I emailed my form as well and they replied back "thank you for your response"
  2. Does anyone know if they accepted 40 or 48 people this year?
  3. Congrats everyone! I got my acceptance email as well!
  4. There were 28 to start with and I think we ended up with 15 left
  5. My score sheet is also posted. I ended up getting alternates points after all. It is a pleasant surprise, however I am annoyed that both my advisor and the health sciences dept told me that I wouldn't get alternate points since not having the points is the main reason I decided to retake the test this year. I wish that there would have been clearer information about this.
  6. Last year I was alternate #20 and I think I I ended up moving up 13 spaces to #7. I was informed this year by health sciences that they are no longer giving out the extra 5 alternate points, so none of us alternates from last year will get them. After finding that out, I decided to retake the test in hopes of getting a higher score this year. Thankfully, I did get a higher score this year so I should hopefully be able to get in without the alternate points. I think it is a major bummer though that there are no longer any alternate points! Also, i Did not find the Kaplan test book very helpful for studying. I mainly used my old a&p notes to study and quizlet/crash course videos
  7. My understanding after talking to health sciences, is that no one that was an alternate last year has any extra points for this year. My advisor told me unless someone has already gotten an email telling them they have the five points, then they don't have them.
  8. Last year I took the exam and got an 81. They ended up only accepting 40 people and had 28 alternates. I started as alternate 20 and by the beginning of term was alternate 7. I just found out a couple weeks ago that they are now longer giving people the extra 5 alternate points anymore. When I talked to health sciences at Chemeketa, they told me that they did not know yet if they would be accepting 40 or 48 people this year, but they did confirm that they no longer give out the 5 extra alternate points. So, I decided to go ahead and retake the test this year rather than use my score from last year. I ended up getting a 92, which really surprised me, but I'm happpy because I was really worried when I found out about not getting alternate points.
  9. How do we find out what our current status is as an alternate? I was alternate #20, but I am assuming I have moved up, but I don't know where to find that information.
