Hey Meligp, I just finished Trents program and can tell you a little about it. If you are interested in emergency nursing, that placement is only available in your final placement. It also requires you meet certain grades in your pathophysiology and pharm, as well as taking an advanced patho/ pharm class. During your preconol and consol, you can choose to go anywhere you'd like to do your placement, as long as you are accepted of course. The clinical placements prior to the final 2 semesters are done at hospitals in the area, either PTBO, lindsay, or cobourg. There are some options along the way (mat child vs mental health), as well as in your "3rd" year placements you can choose for your "chronic" placements (palliative, rehab floors) and "acute" (general medical, telemetry, surgery, ortho). I also should mention I did my placement in emerg @ PTBO this year and really enjoyed it. If u have any more questions I can try and help. Goodluck
