Hello everyone! I'm so glad I found this thread. I was accepted into the UofM and will be in the 2017 fall cohort. Very exciting to meet others! Kme77 I will also be moving from a warm state (CA) and am dreading it but also determined to make the best of if and even enjoy winter (is that possible?! Haha). I went to high school in Minnesota (Rochester) but have lived in California for 7 years. I went to undergrad out here and studied human biology. After graduating I volunteered in Ecuador for a few months then moved back to San Francisco and have been in social services ever since. My boyfriend was born and raised in Wisconsin so he's excited to be closer to home and I'm also so happy to be close to my family again. I am really hoping to meet new friends in our cohort because I really don't know anyone in the twin cities! Hopefully soon there will be a Facebook group. Can't wait to see everyone!
