  1. If being a nurse is something that you really want to do then there will be a way for you to become a nurse. As for the program that is kicking you out, I think that there is no way around that. You've shown them that you cannot cut it in their program and I doubt that they'll give you a third chance. Go out and find another school and prove to yourself and the new school that you can be a great student and nurse and as soon as you know it, you'll have that RN at the end of your name. I wish you the best!
  2. Hi everyone, I am currently in the OB rotation and I have noticed that many times, women who are giving birth do not want a male nurse in their room. For this reason, the guys get kicked out of the room while the women student nurses are allowed to stay in the room. If you're a guy who has been in this situation, how do learn without being exposed to what the female nursing students are being exposed to when they're in a room, witnessing a birth or other procedure?
