Pre admission testing. TEAS?
This is the part I was referring to it is mentioned after it says students are required to take the TEAS. All qualified applicants must complete a preadmission examination. Preadmissiontesting will begin in the fall and conclude when the cohorts are filled. Nursingapplicants will be permitted to re-test one time only. This makes it seem like there would would be another test at the start of the program.

Pre admission testing. TEAS?
Unfortunately mzo none of the schools I have applied to have any military benefits. The reading hospital goes off a points system and they give high schoolers points but not someone with a military back ground! Crazy right! I also have a bachelors degree in forensics so most of my pre reqs from that do transfer over. I scored an 82 on the TEAS, hopefully that will bump my points up!!

Pre admission testing. TEAS?
Thanks for the reply cutenurse! I already took the teas, but from my schools information guide they make it seem like there's another round of testing that starts in the beginning of the program in order to fill the seats.

Pre admission testing. TEAS?
Unfortunately attending a seminar is out of the question since I am stationed out of state. I'll be contacting admissions once this long weekend is over. I just wanted to hear the students point of view.

Pre admission testing. TEAS?
Hello everyone, long time lurker first time poster here with my first question! I've applied to the reading hospital school of health sciences for their upcoming fall RN program. Now I've already taken the TEAS but in the program requirements it mentions students must take the pre admission testing which begins in the fall. Which tells me I'm not officially in the program until after I take that exam and score higher than most to secure my seat. Am I understanding this right? Now to make it that far is an accomplishment, but I'm in the Army and once I leave the Army to go to nursing school I kind of want a guarantee that I'll have my seat. Because if I test poorly on a pre entrance exam there's no turning around and going back into the army where I left off. If any of you have some insight please share!! Thanks!
