  1. Hey!! I am from Texas. Their nursing program has been around for about 6 years and they have a 99% NCLEX rate I believe. Their career placement is about 95% are employed within 6 months. I'm not too sure about out of state situations but I know for TX hospitals they have a really good rep around the SA area and hospital their clinicals are at. Overall it's a great program! The professors and faculty are all really nice, they really do care about each and everyone one of their students and it shows!! I hope you get in ? Good luck!! Feel free to message me if you have any other questions ?
  2. Hey yall, has anyone not heard back from the program yet? I'm assuming they're holding out to see if anyone drops their seat, but I'm not sure if I should just forget about it & move forward with my other nursing school.
  3. I am still on the waitlist and haven't heard anything back yet, I'm not sure when we will either ?
  4. Hey everyone! They told me that spots are all full but they'll be sending out waitlists soon and some fall 2021 acceptances. They send they would send out more acceptances if people drop the program for Spring 2021.
  5. Hey guys! I just got my waitlist notification this past Friday. I was wondering how long those of you who got your acceptance on the 22nd had to accept your seat? Thanks!
  6. Hey guys has anyone heard any updates? I applied July 16th and interviewed in August and haven't heard back. I've actually already gotten acceptance into the Fastbacc Program in May but was still hoping for this one due to not having to relocate and its a little cheaper. I'm not sure if theres any hope left for this one still!! My advisor said she can't help much past the interview portion ?
  7. Hey guys! I just got waitlisted into the program for the Spring 2021 start. I was wondering if anyone had a good experience with the waitlist/ got in off the waitlist? Thanks!!
  8. I got a waitlist into the second-degree program. Has anyone heard how big the waitlist is/likelihood of getting off of it? Also how long do those who got accepted have to accept their seat/pay their deposit once you've received the acceptance? Thanks, guys ? Congrats to everyone who got accepted!!
  9. I think from what I remember she told me that your cumulative undergrad had to be above a 3.0 for admissions review, but I would definitely email them/ get in touch with an advisor and see what they say!! They may be able to help because she also said they look only at the pre-req GPA.
  10. Congrats!! When did you apply and interview?
  11. has anyone heard back? I'm assuming their class seats are all filled by now and the rest of us may have applied a little too late ? Do they offer a waitlist? I'm only wondering because I may be attending another program, but I'm still waiting to hear back from Baylor.
  12. Hey guys! I have heard from people that they are having trouble with clinicals because of Covid and being a newer program. Does anyone know anything more on this? It's making me nervous!!
  13. Thank you for the response! My issue was never with my admissions decision, rejection is a part of life and I know this! Rather just the lack of communication that I experienced. Us as applicants do pay to have our application reviewed if we meet requirements, mine was almost not reviewed because I didn’t get a response to multiple emails. Had I not kept up with the forum, I would not have even gotten an interview since my transcript was lost and I had no idea. Tech does have a great program and everyone I spoke to has always been nice, but communication is essential during the admissions process and I would hate for someone to have a negative experience next year since applying is costly. Congrats to you too & Good luck!
