They sent the email through the school email. I'd imagine it takes time for them to send out all of the emails so I'd say maybe give it until tmrw and if you still don't get anything then try calling.

Another reason I didn't apply anywhere else is because I would have had to take the TEAS test again because I took the older one last year that is now expired

Let me know what they say if you call today! I didn't apply anywhere else this semester since they told me I'd automatically be in this time so I really hope everything works out! That's why I'm so anxious for that confirmation email! Did you apply anywhere else?

I was there too. I missed a seat by one spot. They gave me the first envelope that said I moved up to number 1 on the alternate list and I left the room sobbing lol I called on Monday to see when they will be sending the orientation info out and they said they'll try to by the end of the week! Let me know when you get your email!

I was so worried that we would have to reapply or something to keep our spot but Araceli in the office said we don't need to do anything and that we'd get an email in November for orientation. Can't wait!

I was chosen as an alternate for fall 2017 and there weren't enough spots for me so I'll be automatically in for spring 2018 they said

The orientation is may 16th so I will definitely let you know if I get in! Thank you for all the helpful info! I got a 4.0 In my sciences and 85 on my teas. The one thing that I will need to adjust to is the testing style, ESPECIALLY the select all that apply!! Is there anything you did over winter to prepare that has helped you so far?

@ddove1 did you end up getting in for the spring semester? I got chosen for #8 alternate for the fall and I'm just trying to see what my chances are

I don't know if that's how they're doing it but they gave me a # of what alternate # I am but I'm still gonna show up to the orientation like a few hours early just in case

Has anyone else applied for the fall 2017 RN program at LASC? I got an email letting me know I was an alternate and when I called and asked when they would let me know if I got fully chosen it seemed like they said that the email I got is basically an acceptance (contingent on responding to the email and attending the mandatory orientation). does anyone who's applied or past students know if this means I've been accepted? thanks

I really hope you get in Fmiller11!! You've stayed so positive and eager and SO supportive of everyone! Those are the qualities that are going to make you a great nurse one day soon!

I just got my denial letter today. (my stats are 4.0 science GPA, 3.5 overall GPA, 85% on TEAS V) I'm disappointed but hopeful for the other 2 schools I'm waiting to hear back from and hopeful to apply for spring if need be. Good luck to everyone and I hope you guys get in!
