Sumner College RN
I graduated from the RN program. This school is a great school and they really support every student. I referred several co-workers and one was accepted into the RN program and another is starting the LPN program.

And now we wait.
I graduated from the RN program at Sumner. It is a great program and by actually including the traditional 'prereqs' into the program, which they teach with the NUR courses. The Pass Rates have been in the 90%'s since they started the program. I took prereqs for a few years and I am so glad a co-worker told me about Sumner. I was hired from my practicum site and I'm currently in the BSN program at AS.

New RN program at Sumner College???
Sumner College is a great school and their placement rates are 95%. NCLEX pass rates are high and retention is high. I graduated from the RN program and enrolling in that school was one of the best decisions of my life. I am now in a BSN program and have been promoted at my current job.

Sumner College ADN Grads input
I graduated from the RN program at Sumner and feel that I am as skilled as BSN level nurses that I work with on a daily basis. I am currently in a RN to BSN bridge program at American Sentinel University. My credits transferred from Sumner. The program at Sumner is hard, but the administration and the faculty will work with you and support you to help you succeed. I would recommend this program to anyone interested in nursing school. I took prerequisites for 2 years before I heard about Sumner and was able to transfer some of those classes into the program. I do wish I would have heard of Sumner before I spent so much time at a community college. As far as being hired after you graduate, you will be able to find a job. I was offered a job at the same place that I completed my practicum the week I graduated, and was also offered another position that same week. Someone mentioned Providence in a comment and I do have a friend who recently graduated from the RN program at Sumner as well and was just hired by them and offered a spot in their new graduate residency program. I will be done with my BSN in the next year and I feel like I am so far ahead of where I would be if I had not decided to attend Sumner.

Sumner College RN
I graduated from the RN program a few months ago and started working a week after I graduated from the school. I was offered a position at the same place I did my practicum. As long as you do well on the TEAS exam and take some time to write your essays, you have a very good chance of making it to panel. It took my several weeks to write my essays because I had several of my friends look over them and give me some feedback. I think they really want you to tell them why you want to be a nurse and why you would make a great nurse. Personal stories and including your background in the medical field, if you have one, is important. I loved everything about the program. It was hard, but I learned so much during my time at Sumner. Good luck with the process!
