  1. Hi, I am also stating the flex (3 semester) this January. I have been wondering the same thing. I have been calling the department to ask about this but I keep getting transferred around and can’t seem to find a faculty member that can answer this same question for me :/
  2. I would apply as soon as you are in your last semester of RPN, as soon as the program come available on Ontario Colleges. Then contact the school admissions as soon as you graduate and send in your final marks.
  3. Starting RPN Flex (3 semesters) in January 2020. Can anyone share what the timetable/blocks are like?
  4. Hey! did you end up taking those elective? I am looking into doing the same thing now. I'm not done RPN yet but I need thinking about taking something on my "off" semester.
  5. Lifespan is super hard this semester. I guess they changed the way they test for it, you have to really spend time with the textbook in this course now, powerpoints alone will not prepare you.
  6. I would gladly take any advice that you would have for anyone in semester one. I am prepping for three midterms and an assignment right now! Between Pharma, Lifespan, and Clinical Practice Lecture which did you find to be the most difficult?
  7. Hey! From what I've heard Centennial and Sheridan have been sending out offers for Jan 2018. Have you heard of any admissions going out for any other schools yet? Where did you apply?
  8. What do you mean by the online app? I got English and a "General Education Elective" exempted automatically (I did not even have to apply for it for Pre-Health). I got a letter in the mail, it said it was granted by "MacPherson" which I later found out, this is the office where they approve course excemptions.. I belive it's at the the Casa Loma campus. I noticed for the bridging program with Trent (s122) that the electives are called "University Electives". I started looking to see if I could find the list of elective choices but I can't find it anywhere on the GBC site. I wonder if by "University Electives" it means that these are actually Trent courses, not GBC courses? I'm kind of in the same boat, as I will have from this September to January off, and I'd really like to enroll in somthing during this semester. I think I will try to contact Trent to see if they can shed some light on this. Also, just curious if you don't mind me asking. In GBC's RPN program, were you ever given the option to work through the summer semester? I have been asking around and I keep getting different answers on this.
  9. Hi ggopasso, did you find out if the electives that you took in the RPN program were excempted?
  10. Hey! :) I'm also accepted to Centennial RPN Flex this September 2017, but I don't think I should accept the offer. I have already have COMM170 and COMM180 (English course) and two electives through my past diploma... That would mean I would only be taking only two courses in the first semester. I'm not sure if I could take semester two courses in semester one, or if I should just start in January as I have an offer from thier regular 4 semester progam. I am waiting for an advisor to call me back, but does anyone have any insight?
  11. Actually, one more question if you don't mind me asking Imanny. I'm curious about what type of applicant you are. Are you coming stright from highschool or a mature student?
  12. Ah amazing, good luck!
  13. Imanny, when was the deadline for you to submit your interview? Have you done it already?
  14. Even if your marks are in the high 90's if they don't like your interveiw you are disqualified from the application process.
