I have had a really great experience. It will be very helpful to remember to remain teachable and to remember what your goal is. Focus on being the best nurse that you can be and take every learning opportunity you receive. It should go without saying, but I'll say it anyway, be respectful of your professors and your peers and it will be a great experience for you as well. Embrace nursing school as a challenge. It isn't easy, but it is worth it! Just know, too, that your experience will be what you make of it. Make it AMAZING! It doesn't feel like it when you're in the middle of it all, but it truly does go by super fast. You will be amazed at what you learn in such a short amount of time. Congratulations and good luck on this new adventure! You're gonna do great!

Congratulations to all of you who know that you've been accepted! And to those of you who are waiting, don't give up! Heidi will tell you that every year there are students that do not accept the offer to attend JCCC because they were able to get in to a different program or their situation has changed since applying. Hang in there! It is a tough program, but worth your effort. Sincerely, a 2017 JCCC Nursing School Graduate who was #65 too.
