  1. Hey! I was accepted for the accelerated as well for the fall. I was wondering if you could tell me how the program is going so far. Is it doable, and is the first semester really 21 credits ?
  2. I got accepted to the accelerated program! Does anyone know if they split the first semester up? 21 credits seems undo-able...
  3. Does anyone know the class average for the hesi?
  4. Does anyone know the class average for the Hesi?
  5. I took the Hesi yesterday and scored an 83%. The reason why my score dropped down so low was because I scored a 64% on biology. On math I got a 98%, Anatomy 92%, Chem 88%. Grammar, reading, and vocab all together was an 81%. I feel as if though everything I studied for biology using pocketprep and the hesi review book did not help me at all. Can anyone please give me some suggestions on studying for the biology section?? I am planning on retaking the Hesi next month because I feel that I could do so much better if I master biology, and a bit of reading. My competitive score right now is at an 81% and I know the fall is going to be harder to get into then the spring.
  6. It isn't letting me private message you because I haven't posted 14 threads. If you can do you mind posting on here how the exam went and what were its most difficult questions, and what kind of questions would they ask?
  7. Super random but do you mind if I whatsapped you regarding the exam?
  8. Yeahh I am also applying to accelerated since I have a bachelors in Psychology. How was the exam?? what would you say are the most difficult topics?
  9. I appreciate it! I currently have a 3.3 science GPA and I need to aim for the highest possible score in order to have a chance at getting into the program.
  10. Hey Bran! I wish you the best of luck!! Also, I was wondering if after the test you could let us know what the exam will cover and what it will be like, as well as any suggestions on studying. Thank you!
  11. That's awesome, I regret not taking my science pre-reqs at MDC, I have a 3.3 science gpa from FIU so I really have to score above a 90 on the Hesi. Do you have any suggestions on preparing for the exam? I'm using pocket prep and Elsevier Hesi A2 practice
  12. Hey! I too went to FIU and graduated in psychology while completing the nursing pre-reqs. Was your Intro to Healthcare class accepted by MDC? I'm taking a mini-term in march with the lecture and the lab because the credits I took at FIU weren't accepted.
  13. Hey Leya, I too graduated from FIU and I agree with the fact that FIU's science classes are harder. I have a science gpa score of a 3.27, but I haven't taken the hesi yet. Did you end up getting accepted to the program? I have to realllly focus on scoring at least above a 90%. Do you have nay recommendations for preparing for the exam? Also do you think I stand a chance in applying for the fall term? I know its way more competitive than the spring.
  14. Hey Lina, I too will be applying for the fall generic program. I'm currently preparing myself to take the hesi either by the end of february or sometime in march. I was wondering if you had any tips that you would recommend for preparing for the anatomy portion of the exam. I am currently using the pocketprep and have an overall 88%. I want to know what're the best ways to prepare for this exam. I feel as if though my 88% needs to be a perfect 100% before taking this exam. Thanks!
