  1. I was shortlisted too from previous intake last January and i got into top 50 holdlist but they never specified what position i was in and several months after.. i think it was around February, i got a non-offer for April intake
  2. Has anyone received rejection emails?? Just wondering
  3. So i emailed them today about my application status, what's the class average for the quiz and if all acceptance letters have been sent out already but i got an email back saying "Due to increased volume of emails, we will get back in 3 business days" hahaha guys I think everyone must be emailing the Nursing program nonstop and crazily >_
  4. So i was in the last intake and i made it to the Top 50 holdlist too and i think we got our emails before October 31st which was the day to notify everyone about final status. I'm pretty sure they will be sending emails next week, if not today or tomorrow. Fingers crossed everyone..
  5. I just finished work too right now lol and i keep checking my email nervously but there's still nothing :/
  6. Waiting game for all of us right now 😊 Wish you all luck!
  7. Yes, the questions were very straightforward. I think it all depends on how well we incorporate our personal and professional skills to each question.
  8. Hi y'all, I just finished the questionnaire right now. It wasn't that bad but it definitely was a bit nerve-wracking with the clock ticking above the quiz :/ Goodluck!
  9. Hey @amanjotdhami :) Yes I personally emailed the Admissions department right after my application was declined. They told me that I had a good application and the only recommendation they could give me was to increase my post-secondary education and so I did. Right now, I have over 60 credits because they mentioned also that a successful applicant tend to have 60 or more credits. And if you want to know what score you got on the questionnaire, they don't put it on D2L instead you could email and ask. That's the only way to find out. I think i scored 71% out of the class average 83%.
  10. I got my email yesterday too! Really excited and nervous as this is my second time doing the questionnaire, I'm just hoping I don't mess anything up and go over the time limit. Goodluck everyone :)
  11. I got mine today too! Really excited and nervous as this is my second time doing the questionnaire, I'm just hoping I don't mess anything up and go over the time limit. Goodluck everyone :)
  12. I'm just wondering does anyone know how many people applied for this intake aside from the people who had been transferred on last January waitlist? Thanks!
  13. I just got an email saying I reached the Level 2 department assessment for April so I guess for the others we need to wait in a couple of weeks for the final decision. í ½í¸ I don't like waiting.. Goodluck everyone :)
  14. Yes i believe so, since the ones from the January waitlist were considered for April intake and would have to compete against others as well.
  15. I know, hopefully we will get news sooner than that..
  16. Hi guys! I actually emailed the Admissions and they told me that by February 15 they will notify everyone of their final status. Hopefully we received the news by that time :)
  17. Yeah most of us on the january intake pretty much talked about our questionnaire and any tips regarding how to answer it. I passed the quiz. Quick advice is dont go over time limit and just treat it as a behavioural written interview rather than a quiz. Provide as much detail and specific examples based on your personal/professional experiences but keep in mind the maximum amount of words allowed. I'm currently waitlisted for Jan 2018 so still waiting...but will be also be considered for April 2018 if there's no opening for acceptance as Admissions mentioned . Anywho, Goodluck!!
  18. @dg93 have you also tried looking into other schools except BCIT?
  19. I believe that people like us, who are waitlisted, will be reviewed for a seat this April but I don't think it increases our chances since we are competing amongst April 2018 candidates and they would likely choose applicants through ranking everyone's education, related experiences, and non-cognitive questionnaire. As for September, that's a different intake and application opens at Nov 1 until end of February from what I read on the website, so I'm guessing we need to apply again?
  20. @kasx0 i am in the same situation as you. Top 10 candidates have a higher chance on getting in from what i heard 😔😔😔😔
  21. Hopefully by late afternoon we are going to hear back about our current application status
  22. @FortuneS just as others and I stated in previous posts, they will only consider candidates who've passed the quiz for April intake meaning there's still a chance to fight for a seat along with other April candidates. Hope that makes sense! Those who failed are automatically out thus they will receive non-acceptance letter on Mon. So i think they will be sending out two kinds of emails (non-acceptance and consideration for April)
  23. I also got the same message as everyone else stating that I passed the quiz. 96 offers were already sent and if by some chance those candidates who did not accept their offer then they will continue to send out more acceptance offers. Also, if they wish to defer their offer to April, they have until October 30 to do so. For those that failed the quiz will be given non-acceptance letters and the rest will be considered for april competition. The Nursing Admissions are trying their best to sort out and finalized everything until Monday. Congrats and goodluck to the people that got accepted!! And to everyone still waiting, just be patient :)
  24. Thanks for the update! And congrats as well
