Hi all-this might sound complicated. I just got into DNP FNP school. I saw they were giving a $2100 monthly stipend while in school and you just have to sign a commitment (not sure on years). Just wondering- if you take this, do you have to complete the physical part first or is that deferred until you finish school? I've been waiting on a recruiter to call me, but anxious to know! Thanks. Also-has any NPs gone this route?

Has anyone applied to the ECU DNP FNP concentration for Fall 2020? Or the AGNP? Just wondering when information would be sent out for a possible interview.

Were you originally on the wait list at UNCC? I was waitlisted number 5 there!

I didn't get accepted either. I was really surprised! So weird.

So crazy we got different answers! I like 44 being interviewed better!

I was told back in October they interview the top 50 and told the same at the interview.

For those who got accepted, when do you have to notify the school by? Did you have to pay a deposit?

My gpa was 3.3. I had an interview yesterday. They had 138 apply. I think your pre req's have to be complete.

Don't feel nervous. I got waitlisted #5 at UNCC and I couldn't believe it! I am happy to have gotten that far! Not sure how many people they take. I think you will do fine! Fingers crossed!!

I talked to a person there and they said they get around 100 applicants, interview 50 and accept 25. Will let everyone know if I hear tomorrow!!

I applied to UNCC since they didn't require GRE...waitlisted there. I'm okay with that! Better than getting denied. You have to let me know when you hear back from Western!!

I applied for fall 2017 FNP. Hoping to hear March 14! I got an email Friday afternoon saying they didn't have my BSN transcript and to send it asap...not sure how that happened...but could mean I could get an interview since they needed it so last minute?! Could be over thinking the whole situation.

Has anyone heard anything back from UNCC FNP or WCU FNP in NC for fall 2017? I know western is supposed to reach out for interviews march 14, but UNCC is behind! I spoke with the NP coordinator who said she turned everything over to the UNCC grad school march 2. Ahh!! My nerves!
