To those of you who are current students or recent grads: I am textbook shopping and I'm all about a deal. Were there any books that said "required" [for purchase] but then were never used in/outside of class? Thanks!

Ok so I just started the PLU ELMSN 2017 FB group. In order to create the group, it forced me to add someone in at the start. Since I don't personally know any of you yet I simply added my husband (haha); so ignore his name for now (hopefully he'll leave the group soon and you won't even see him at all!). Hi entryleveleverything! And congratulations! I just wanted to say that I completely sympathize with your frustrations of driving for 1.5 hrs on Tuesdays this Fall. If you would like to make it more worth your time, I'd say let's find a crew of people and start a study group. Of course, we won't really know personal schedules until the Fall but I just wanted to be helpful and throw that out there if you were interested. See ya in June!

I emailed them because I had a deadline for another school. They replied and told me that I had been accepted and that packets were being sent out the next day. That is all the information I know. Good luck!

I also received an email yesterday and was accepted into the Fall 2017 cohort. I am still waiting to hear back from one other school though. So within the next two weeks or so I'll be able to make my official decision. Best of luck to everyone!

Yes because of this sentence: "Placement on this wait list (select waitlist) does not imply or guarantee admission to the 2017 cohort of future cohorts."

Hello all :) I have been a lurker as well! I just wanted to add to the discussion because I too was put on the "Select Waitlist". It wasn't until reading these recents posts that I knew there were two waitlists. I also want to remain optimistic but to be honest I didn't interpret "select waitlist" to mean accepted if the expansion of the class size was approved. Should I be reading that differently? Does that mean we have an automatic spot if the expansion goes thru? I have been tempted to email them for clarification. Part of the letter said something along the lines of "we will know in March/let you know in March" but it also stated that waitlisters will be informed by May 30th. Their letter is playing games with my heart!
