I am at the end of my 3rd term, 5 months left! It has been challenging to say the least. Are you going to be in the day or evening program? If you have any questions lmk & I will try to help. I'm not sure how to pm but feel free to pm me if you can figure it out. Best of luck! Study, study, study....it's not going to be easy but you can do it!

You will be better off putting your time, effort & money into an education at a community college or another reputable institution.

Congratulations on passing your HESI! I did not have a panel review. I wouldn't be too worried about it if I were you. If you qualify for loans to pay then it is pretty much a guarantee you will be granted admission. This is a for profit school & I have yet to hear of anyone being turned away. Good luck & let me know if you have any other questions.

I completely understand why you are considering the program. The convenience of the part time evening schedule is the reason I am there. The program definitely has its issues & could be improved. I don't regret enrolling in the program simply b/c the schedule is what works with my life. At the end of the day I'm not going to let the negatives deter me from my end goal. I did my research & read a lot of bad reviews about the school. I can not say they were all lies but keep in mind a lot of the reviews were probably written by some bitter former students that couldn't hack it & were dropped for failing. You definitely have to study a lot & it is not handed to you. You have to be self motivated for sure! You are expected to do the same amount of work as the full time student so no, it is not easy. There are some awesome instructors & there are some that shouldn't be teaching. I've had a mix of both. I look at it as a temporary situation to get where I want to be & try not to let the bad ones have an effect on me. Easier said than done at times. If you know what you want then I say go for it & don't let anyone stop you! The school is not that bad but it's not great. I'm sure this isn't the most helpful of information & I apologize for that but hopefully it will give you a realistic perspective. I'd love to know what you decide, keep me posted! Let me know if you have any specific questions about the program or if I can help you!

Anyone commute long distance to school everyday?
I drive an hour and half each way 3d/wk, I work full time and I am a single mom. I always leave two hours ahead of time in case I run into traffic or the unknown. The drive is really not that big of a deal to me b/c this is what I want. It will all be worth it in the end!

I did. I am in my 3rd week. It has been interesting. There are some good and some bad things about the place. It is what best suits my needs with no other choice but to work full time so I am going to ignore the extra and try to stay focused!

I am new here so forgive me if I have posted this in the wrong place. I am looking at starting DNI LVN part-time evening program on April 10, 2017. I was wanting some recent feedback from current students as to what to expect. Anyone else plan on stating this same class?
