Í finally got a the call today!!! I'll be starting next week. It took a total of 3 1/2 months from interview to start time.

I just got an email with a code for the e-quip. It says I need to wait for more instructions from the hiring office before setting up the account. Does anyone know how long does it take for e-quip to clear? I got my tentative offer back at the biggining of January. Everything is done except for this new e-quip I just received. I am tire of waiting and can't afford to let other good job opportunities go by while I continue to wait for the VA.

What position did you apply for? And in what state? I'm in Arizona so hopefully that won't be the case for me.

It has been three weeks since I got my physical and fingerprints done and almost 2 weeks since vetpro. All my references faxed and mailed the letters of recommendation last week and I only had one job during my 6 years as a nurse. How much longer do you guys think this can take?

I read here that most people had 3 references. I was asked for 4 references, 3 of them already faxed back the forms but the 4th reference did note yet and they gave them a deadline of 3/6. What happens if she can't fax that by Tuesday? Also any ideas on pay grade and step for a nurse with 5 1/2 years of experience, BSN, supervisor experience and certified in pediatrics?

How about the pension FERN? How much is that per paycheck?

Hello I wanted to share my hiring time line and ask some questions.Does anyone knows what is the percentage that is taken from your paycheck for pension? Also how much for health insurance for employee and family? Applied to VA and of November Interviewed mid December. Unofficial offer end of January Physical and finger prints on February 21 Submitted all paperwork and vetpro today 3/2. Now just waiting...
