  1. Hi, I'm in my last few months of nursing school, I have heard Uworld is the way to go, but it also comes with a hefty price. I was wondering if anyone had luck with Boardvitals? I have noticed they have more questions than Uworld, and is a little bit cheaper. Thanks!
  2. I believe banner got rid of all LPNs. But I know for sure nursing homes. I'll have to weigh my options. I'm currently at Phoenix college
  3. Yeah I was thinking about LPN as well. It would give me more hands on experience. If I could find something part time I'd go for it. I've worked part time for banner all through block one and block two, so working shouldn't add more to my stress. Just not sure if it's worth quitting banner for LPN
  4. Hi all, I'm currently a block two nursing student. I'm wanting to become a CNA and apply with the nursing student waiver through the Arizona board of nursing. Has anyone done this prior or know the process? Thanks so much
  5. Union-Jack, Thank you! I'm planning to apply to NAU, one because it's cheaper and I've always wanted to go to NAU since high school. But I Also, wouldn't mind going through ASU. So either would work for me.
  6. Yay congrats! I was in the same boat, applied to CEP a couple of times, but I wasn't accepted. Will apply to get in mid block for CEP as well.
  7. Hi gwccstudent, I think the rubric is better. At least now as students we can see what exactly we need to get the highest amount of points. But I do feel a lot of people will end up with the same amount of points. My plan is to get into CEP mid block, at this point I wanted to just get accepted, so it didn't matter if it was traditional or CEP.
  8. I've been on the waiting list for about 1.5 years for just the maricopa pool and have been trying for CEP for multiple semesters .
  9. Hi all, I recently received my email of being accepted at Phoenix college for Spring 2018 traditional program! Just wondering if anyone out there has as well? Congrats to all who get accepted!
  10. That's makes more sense now. Thanks so much
  11. That's makes more sense now. Thanks so much
  12. Not sure if this is a repeat topic. does anyone know if there's a maricopa CEP for block 1 that starts in spring 2018? Or even the regular ADN program that will start in spring? I recently received my denial letter for the CEP program, and it stated the next block wouldn't start till fall 2018. I always thought there was a block 1 that started each semester. any info helps thank you!
  13. Hi A_lems, Have you heard anything from Phoenix yet? I'm still anxiously waiting.
  14. Thank you that makes sense. I'm also wondering if anyone has heard from Phoenix, maybe us getting a asu email can give us a better chance of getting in with maricopa
  15. Congratulations!! Hoping we all receive an email today. I'm so anxious to know if I got in or not
