I emailed Tracey the other day about the possibility of an interview off the waitlist. She said interviews will be conducted through April 5th so we have until then for her to reach out, as denied or cancellations happen. Interviews could be for any of the track choices listed on application.

I was just thinking about this. My email didn’t say for a specific track either, I was just assuming based off of my listed choices but it’s probably more likely that we are just waitlisted in general

I’m curious how this works. From their websites FAQ and previous forums, I was under the impression people were waitlisted after the interview process, but I guess there’s two separate waitlists, one for before interviews and one for those who interviewed but weren’t extended a position right away? The email says we’ll be contacted about possible openings for interviews in the coming weeks but I guess I’m still a bit confused. Anyone have any insight?

Congrats! Did you put adult acute care as one of your 4 track choices or did they just offer it to you instead?

I didn’t apply to a peds track but I haven’t heard anything either, it’s only been a couple days so I’m sure they’re still working on it!

My first choice was Trauma ICU, but I put the other critical care choices as my other options because I really want ICU. I'll be applying for other residency programs as well when they start opening. I graduate in August so I'm looking for October cohorts.

Based on some other forums I’ve read on here, people started hearing about interviews around the 20th of February. We’re getting close!

The second part has resume, experience, letter of intent, references and some other stuff. I think they sent it in about 48 hours

Hey!! I made a forum for Summer/Fall the other day too! I’m hoping for a spot in the Fall cohort as I graduate in August. Just finished submitting everything! Now just anxiously waiting with fingers crossed

I’m from Florida as well and I have the same concerns about the experience section! Hoping that other areas of the application take precedent over that. I just fully submitted mine the other day! It’s going to be a long month of anxious waiting

Makenzib, wow awesome TEAS score. I am the same way, hoping my TEAS helps make up for my less than perfect GPA. I am very nervous that it won't be enough. Alexand[er] thanks for compiling all of those statistics! Really helps put things into perspective. Though, I can't say they make me feel any less worried about having a lower GPA than most :/

Nice stats, PedsIsMe! I am very nervous too when I look at everyone's stats on this thread. I am biting my nails waiting for these decisions to be sent. Last year, I believe people were even receiving emails on the 22nd, which is next week already. Hopefully, we are lucky enough to hear something by then.

Hey guys, I'm also applying to UCF's traditional program as a transfer from UF. I applied last year and wasn't accepted so I'm trying again with some better stats this time. Overall: 3.7 Science pre-req: 3.58 other pre-req: 3.67 TEAS: 92 I'm so nervous to hear back because my GPA is a bit lower than I would like, but hopefully the TEAS score helps me out.
